I highly recommend a 160mm hole saw for this product. Amazon had one for $20, but it looks like it's gone now. 160mm makes a super tight fit though; you'll have to work hard to push it in, but you can adjust it once it snaps down. I used mine on my Lifetime Teton Angler in the rear of the boat. I saw a video that installed one on the front. I'm back here to buy another to install on the front. Oh, and the self taping screws can be started with a power tool, but you should hand tighten to finish.

Hate my two deck hatches on my Tamarack. Needed something to upgrade to an actual useable hatch. Found this one with the bag and it fits flawlessly!NOTE: to anyone with a Tamarack, this hatch is great replacement! But... with some work required. Because there is a lip on the stock hatch, you have to trim the plastic to flatten out. Once you do this, I used a plastic welder to weld some extra matching plastic to make sure the rivets can grab onto something, because the holes are a bit short once you cut the lip and try and place the hatch in the hole. You can also use PlasticWeld as well. This allows you to drill holes for the hatch to grab onto rivets.If you don’t want to do any leg work, this will be a big pain in the butt, lol!

I spent the extra 10 dollars compared to the others because.... well you get what you pay for usually. It works great, and it keeps the water out. Only complaint is the rubber gasket inside started coming out every time i open the hatch a few weeks after having it. It still seals perfect, i just have to push it back into the groove every time i close it.

Got two of these for my lifetime teton angler since it didn’t have hatches didn’t take long to install and seem great so far and opens up so much more storage space

Ordered two for my kayak. Seem sturdy and well made. Simple to install using a roto-zip tool. Bags fit well and latches seem solid.

I like the way the hatch locks. Although the bag is not! Waterproof. After installing the hatch I filled th bag with water to test it and it leaked through the seams. Now I need to find a new bag that will fit in the compartment and is waterproof
