I'm a foster mom and a clinically diagnosed "obese" child was placed in my home about a month and a half ago. He's the sweetest little boy in the world- but he definitely needed some help with his weight. As someone who's struggled with an eating disorder I did not want to make a big deal out of his weight. I didn't even want him knowing that he was going on a doctor monitored "low calorie" diet. I wanted him to develop a healthy relationship with food without feeling restricted and 'punished' for his weight. So- I started searching around for delicious low calorie substitutes to regular food. One of his favorites? Chocolate Milk. He usually had a glass or two every day when he got home from school. He has a sweet tooth (as do I), and I wanted to find something that would be yummy, yet low calorie and healthy that he could sip on as he did his homework. A few minutes searching around and I came across this Silk Vanilla Almond Milk. I ordered this set on Amazon, figuring the price was so cheap how could I not try it? I expected something bitter with a 'vanilla mask' to it. What I received was a genuinely delicious product. This milk is thick- about the thickness of heavy cream. It's a bit darker in color than regular milk in color. It's a perfect texture to drink as a 'milkshake-like snack' or to use in cereal, oatmeal, or mixed with frozen berries. It's the taste that won this product five stars though. There is a TON of sugar in this product (buyer beware- it's not nearly as healthy as it seems if you're looking at the sugar content). But, the sugar gives it a taste that is so dang yummy! My boy, who was a bit off-put by the 'almond milk' label, took one sip and was very impressed. This stuff is SO good! All of the other kids in my home also jumped on board and now every single kiddo is begging to have a cup of this stuff when they get home from school. And I'm not surprised- it tastes like a milkshake. Unlike an actual milkshake it's VERY low calorie (90 calories a cup - compared to one cup of 2% milk which is 125 calories). It's also packed with vitamins and nutrients including Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D- and E. And a TON of calcium (which is great for another child in my home who's underweight and has had issues with easily breaking bones in the past). I am unbelievably impressed with this product. It's helped my boy cut down on calorie intake immensely. We've made so many delicious healthy meals with this stuff! He eats it for breakfast with oatmeal and dried berries. We add a little bit of cocoa (mixed with warm water first) to make it into 'chocolate milk' - and the cocoa only adds about 15 calories). AND the best part is that he doesn't feel separated from the other kids, because they also want to drink this milk as an alternative to the regular 'not sweet milk' in our fridge. In fact, two of the children who are underweight drink whole milk instead- and he gets this "special milk", which actually makes him feel really good about eating healthier. I love the positivity that goes along with this milk and his weight-loss! This milk is shelf-stable and doesn't require refrigeration. I've ordered it in bulk twice now and add containers to the fridge as I need them. I leave the rest in our pantry. It's great for saving storage space, and the price here on Amazon beats the price at the store by nearly 50%. We LOVE this stuff for so many reasons! It's very sweet (personally, I can't drink it plain! I only use it with unsweetened cereal and add water to dim down the sugary taste first). It's shelf stable. It's low calorie. It's packed with vitamins. And best of all? It's helped my kiddo actually feel good about eating "healthier" and losing weight. Hooray! Thanks, Silk! I'll be a long-term customer.

I started drinking almond milk about a year ago because it’s healthier for me, and to me it tastes just like dairy milk. I prefer the vanilla flavor for the little bit of sweetness that it has. It is great to put on cereal or in a smoothie. And buying it in a six pack like this saved money. I like that you can keep it on the shelf in your pantry for a long time without it going bad. I like that it is in a quart size container that will fit in the refrigerator a lot easier than a giant gallon size jug. This is a good brand. Very good almond milk.

I don’t know why, but I’m addicted to Unsweetened Almond Milk! I never realized that I wasn’t drinking any milk at all, until I started using another brand of unsweetened almond milk. It’s really convenient to be able to open my front door & have 6 boxes of almond milk there too! Couple of things I’ve done & adore- I’ve started dropping a stick of Cinnamon into a few boxes of my refrigerated almond milk. Yummm 😋 I’m not a big coffee drinker, but have always had a deliciously icy, cold spot in my tummy for Coffee Ice Cream-Only the Best (Of Course) & created an alternative to Coffee Ice Cream! Some may find it to be a pain in their coffee, but I Love It! I start with a tall (10” tall glass) & fill it halfway w/ Unsweetened Almond Milk. Recently, it’s been Silk’s. Then, I literally pour in at least 2 Tablespoons of Medalio D’Oro’s Instant Expresso (If I don’t want the full caffeine tilt throttle bump, I add 1/2 Decaf (Any type you enjoy) & 1/2 Expresso) I add 1-2 teaspoons of ground Cinnamon & stir. If my sweet teeth are jonesing, (sp?) I add Honey or Raw Sugar to taste. Then, to give it that Ice Creamy Luxury Taste, I add either Whole Organic Milk, The Coconut (Canned) Milk & stir like a possessed soul! If I’m having a bad day or have forgotten to eat & just need some calories, I’ll add a teeny bit of Organic Cream, but of course. Next, once I’ve taken the time to put this all together, I’ll go splay myself somewhere away from my Cell, Laptop & people. Particularly people, as once anyone tastes this, they’ll try finishing mine or ask me to make 1 for them. Somehow, this always seems to happen just after I’ve mixed it perfectly & have just allowed the 1st sip to infuse & begin to completely regenerate my soul, imagination & life-joy! Life’s gotten so crazy difficult & concurrently simple since COVID dropped onto our planet! Avoiding Iceland of course, brilliant lot of souls in Iceland. Can you even start to imagine how it would feel to See Everyone’s Entire Face, Everyday-With Zero Fear of Infection? Remember when ... Here’s hoping that you & your loved ones (2 & 4 legged & in between!) are all safe, healthy & continue to stay so, with a roof over your heads & good food in your bellies. I find it’s efficient to reuse Cinnamon Sticks, tho I keep the used, washed & dried ones in a separate Spice Bottle then the never used ones. The Sticks do expand in liquids, tho make great straws for Cider, Hot Cider, the warmed version of this Coffee Ice Cream & even in Hot Vanilla (Think Hot Chocolate w/out the Cocoa Powder, a bit of sliced vanilla bean (or vanilla extract-needs must) & I’d imagine the Vanilla Almond Milk) w/ Honey laced Cinnamon Sticks-heated, not boiled late at night or after being outside in the cold. With the added benefit of serving with a red-bowed, snazzy Cinnamon Stick Stirrer, like Peppermint Candy Canes!) To reclaim my Cinnamon Sticks, I quickly tired of trying to get them back out of the Almond Milk Box hole, so I slash the topside of the empty container, extract the used Cinnamon Stick, wash it & either dry it or pinch it & put it back into a full container of Almond Milk, headed to the frig. If you enjoy Cinnamon, this is a treat. It’s a simple pleasure that makes life feel fun & grand for a moment! We Deserve Grand Again, even if just for a moment!

Great to have on had for making protein shakes. Whole family likes the flavor.

Just like in the pitchure. Not expired and box not damaged. Tastes great. Worth the money has vitamins in it. Tastes great after opening and refrigerated. Makes great dairy free foods. Definitely recommend this product to a vegan.

First, I love the packaging of the singles of the milk. I'm a single person, living on my own. For the most part I use this in either cereal or scrambled eggs. When I don't use a whole container, I stand it up in a quart sized ziplock container and back in the fridge it goes. No waste. A quart of this, the next available size, is too large, it just about always spoils on me. This product has an excellent taste in cereal no need to add anything else. Great for your shakes. Fluffy scrambled eggs and likely omelets too. I am rarely able to get this locally. You'd think I was living in the backwoods of po'dunk America but I don't. Population over 56K. However...I live in a secured apartment building and the front office will not accept delivery of any packages since the pandemic. How do we shop now? Well don't bother going into the store, there's nothing there anyway. Everything is either curbside or delivered. Once Amazon ships from their warehouse & it gets to my city, the item is transferred to USPS unless you're lucky and UPS delivers all the way to your door. Generally, the heavier items. I called Amazon customer service about this months ago. Textbook answer. We have no way of knowing once an item leaves the warehouse how final delivery is determined. It's handled by the carrier. So I've resorted to an Amazon HUB delivery location. Which is great other than I have to go about 5 miles from my house to get anything I order. Haul it from my car, through the security door, which is no easy trick if the box is cumbersome because the security panel to unlock the door is about 12 feet from the actual door into the building. The unlock is on a timer so I have to move from the panel to the door without tripping over myself before the door locks back again and I have to start over. That's just to get into my building. So for this last order, I ordered 2 boxes. They are 10 pounds each. I should get them to my door no problem right? Oh heck no! Transferred to USPS! So I have to go down to the post ofc, wait in a line 30-40 minutes because every other person in the same boat as I is standing in this line along with everyone else that h as issues with mail delivery of some kind and that's beyond out of hand. The postal service is a mess. I have to haul 20 pounds of this to my car then to my apt. Not happening. I'll let them return it to Amazon and reorder to the Amazon HUB thank you very much! Someone at Amazon needs to figure this out I simply cannot be the only one having this problem.

This item is something that I can use months later. None wasted sitting in the fridge. I recommend purchasing this product

We love this product for our son with a dairy allergy. We have ordered it over 30 times over the years. Great for school and dinners out, etc. Great product! But i need to warn people that I have ordered the dark chocolate flavor 4 times in the past 2 months and have received vanilla each time. This despite my efforts to get customer service to contact fulfillment about the issue. I have been forced to find it elsewhere so my son has something to drink at lunch. Please fix this issue!
