My husband loves this book.

If you are a collector of Carcano, then this book is for you. A lot of information about the different versions.Production numbers, markings etc.

Book looks like it has some great info for my collector. As far and the way it was shipped leaves a lot to be desired. Book came in a box without any protection to keep it from moving around getting damaged, the box also had a hole in the corner of it. I don’t know how the dust cover wasn’t damaged more. Just has some small places. Collectors pay a lot of money for reference books so maybe in the future take better care with shipping these treasures out.

Tons of info on the different carcanos,great book

I have been on the fence for months about this purchase mainly because of the cost. I finally gave in and I am very pleased. This is considered the Carcano Bible for a reason. There is everything you want to know about your Carcano in this book. I love it.

Never before have a called a book on guns beautiful, until now. This book could be called a coffee table book for Carcano Rifle owners. Practically every page is profusely illustrated with color pictures and plates. This book tells you everything you could possibly want to know about the family of Carcano Rifles. An added bonus are sections on ammunition, bayonets, leather gear, grenades, and anything else Carcano related. If you buy one book about Carcanos, this is the one. You won't be disappointed. Well worth the cost.

This is what the Carcano collector, or student of Italian rifles, has been waiting for. Every model is covered with basic background history and minute details of the weapons. As an added bonus, various accessories, such as bayonets, ammunition, cartridge boxes, and the grenade launcher are illustrated. The weapons are explored in detail, while the rest are looked at in a more general way. An important feature is the listing of known serial number ranges for each model. Readers should not be disappointed by this book.

Lots of great insights you won't find online -- especially for markings and serial numbers. A must have for the Carcano collector or anyone interested in this period of Italian firearms.
