Sleek looking and roomy
I bought this to store extra kitchen appliances as an add-on because we moved and My kitchen is much smaller than my previous kitchen. Had arrived with no damages, It does look very nice, the doors latch at the bottom with magnets, there is lots of room inside for storage, and I like the adjustable shelves. The outside walls are kind of a flimsy material, but seems sturdy enough for what I need, it's pretty light weight, but I wouldn't recommend moving it around too much. Assembly took me and my husband roughly about 2 hours, the instructions were pretty clear and everything was labeled appropriately. Is it worth almost $200, I'd say no, but the price of any type of furniture has skyrocketed. Would I buy it again, yes.

looks high end with great quality
These cabinets are vey nice! I have no pantry so I bought two of them to serve as a pantry and as a cleaning supplies closet. They are sturdy, and relatively easy to assemble. My friend built these for me by herself while I was cleaning and only needed my assistance once. The doors seem to align perfectly and the closing mechanism is strong enough that my toddler and dogs do not open it. There were no missing parts in my order, and it was had a faint smell but nothing as strong as some furntiure that come from amazon. The shelves are moveable, and the top shelf goes all the way across (that is not moveable) but the space below allowed just enough space for brooms and mops to stand upright in it. The only complaint I have is that because of the design (the molding), the shelves on the inside do not go flush against the side of the shelf. This does not affect me at all but if you're trying to put very slim small items, there is about a quarter to half an inch worth of space between the shelves and the side of the cabinet. They look high end and could even look built in if you remove the molding at the bottom of the wall.

NOT HEAVY DUTY like most Sauder, but it was what I needed
First, here’s what I like about these cabinets:They’re super easy to assemble. Well, that is compared to some products like this that I’ve assembled. The parts were clearly labeled, and the instructions were complete and easy to understand (and in English). No boo-boos on the first one – I ordered two of them – and the second one went together even more quickly. They look nice. The molding trim on the doors gives them more of a custom look than your average white, assembled, particle board cabinet. The handles are a brushed-chrome finish and the hinges are heavy duty as well. It was well packaged. Both boxes arrived undamaged and the contents were in perfect condition. Now, their shortcomings:Every piece of Sauder Furniture I’ve ever assembled (and that’s a bunch of ‘em) has been made of ¾ inch particle board. This one is NOT, it’s much thinner! It’s more like 3/8 inch. Really. Some pieces bend when you push on them. That is both good and bad. It makes the cabinet not so heavy to handle and assemble (two people can easily lift it, or maybe one strong person). But it’s NOT HEAVY DUTY. That’s clearly stated in the description, if you read it carefully. They say the weight limit for the upper shelves in 25 lbs and the bottom shelf 50 lbs. I would not, under any circumstances, put that much weight on every shelf because I'd be afraid of sagging. Maybe half that, but then I’m careful.I knew this and I need it for storing lightweight items, so it suited my purposes. But don’t go thinking that you’re going to stock this baby with gallons of paint. Please. So, for me it worked fine. It has a strap you can screw the top to the wall with, and I recommend that you use it, because it could tip over. I will keep you updated if it fails to hold up in the long run.As a Prime member, I buy a LOT of stuff from amazon. Living out in a rural area far from a city, amazon is my go-to source for many of my purchases. I must rely heavily on your product reviews to help me decide which item is best for me -- especially when I can't actually see, touch or hold the product.I take my personal product reviews seriously, and if something proves to be a piece of junk, I'll tell you - and if it's great or mediocre, I'll tell you that, too. My policy is to try to write the kind of reviews I want to read and to update my reviews if for some reason the product fails to perform as advertised during the period it's warrantied for. I do ask that if you found this review helpful in making your decision, that you please click on the "yes" button below.

Good value for what it is.
The thing that I don't like about Sauder's storage cabinet is a tolerable issue. I hate "engineered" wood. At least this doesn't use particle board but some other, better product. Still, it's not real wood.On the other hand... I compared this to a somewhat similar cabinet made partially out of real wood and yeezers - it was over twice the price! So there's a place for engineered wood if the product is well built. Is Sauder's product well built? Yes... for what it is. It is engineered wood that's screwed together. Not real wood with joints and glue and screws. This isn't something your grandchildren will be using but you'll get 20 or more years out of it unless your kids beat it up. I mean, it should be durable under normal use but kids might wreck it. Kid do stuff like swinging from the doors or climbing on the shelves. And I wouldn't recommend moving these from house to house. I wouldn't be optimistic that an assembled cabinet would survive a moving company. What about the assembly? Ah, my assembly was easy! I hired somebody some contractors who were working in the building to do it. They had between 1 and 3 people on the job. It took them about 4 hours to assemble and install 2 cabinets. I've seen reviews say the doors don't align well. All the doors on these cabinet are perfect. These contractors do a lot of cabinet work. They're familiar with the door hinges and approve of them. How do they look? They look GREAT. Sauder even supplies little wood grain stickers to hide the screw holes. The cabinets have a ton of space and adjustable shelves. You can even remove the shelves on one side giving you 53" of vertical storage.I'm quite happy with these. They're a good value, they look good and I can store a LOT of stuff in them.
