Dynasty, Brown Jasmine Rice, 2 Lb

Can no longer find brown Jasmine rice locally... this has been a great product.

Good taste

This is the BEST brown rice ever! I’ve tried many different brands and Dynasty is clean and nutty tasting. I rinse it 3 times and cook it in my rice cooker and that’s it!One thing I’ve learned is to cut down on the amount of water called for by quite at lot. It took me around 3 attempts to figure this out in my cooker. I like my rice a bit firm to bring out the nuttiness.

Great rice, as expected

Better than Nishiki, Three Ladies, and Rice Select Texmati, this rice offers a more complex, aromatic flavor. I've tested it in two pressure cookers, Cosori and CHEF iQ, and found that it requires just over 1.5 cups of water per cup of rice (about 2 tablespoons more) for optimal texture.

Took too long to cook and I didn’t like the taste

I always buy this brand rice in 5 lb package. I thought I was getting a good price on the rice but didn't notice it was only 2 lbs. What a rip off.
