Locally Grown Carrots, 2 Bunches

These carrots were huge and very sweet in taste! They did not have tops on them but that was ok. We made 2 meals out of them plus some in the juicer. Support your local farms, they need it.

i sent these to my daughter and for 28 dollars she got 5. that is ridiculous and should get money back.

These are not carrot bunches. All you get is carrots, no greens. I use freshly chopped carrot greens is some recipes and was very disappointed that these did not have the greens attached as shown.

These took a little longer to arrive, but given the state of things, I wasn't too surprised. I wish there were more included (4 1/2), they were really expensive. One of the big ones was cut almost in half, as in the bottom half was missing. I'm not sure if it was because it was damaged or it was done in order to fit it in the box. I wish it had been whole. They also came pretty bruised from banging around in the box. I used them in a roast in the crock pot and they tasted good. I rated 3 stars because of the size and flavor. However, I paid 24.90 for 4 1/2 carrots. In my opinion, NOT worth it. It appears now they're 28.90!?! Overall, I don't recommend. If you're able, grab some from the store. If you're not able, then grabbed some canned online. Since I've recently tried all 3, I can say they taste the same.Some suggestions to the seller 1) They're too expensive. Lower the price or include a little more. 2) The shipping (which I have a feeling adds a little to the elevated cost). 4 1/2 carrots in that big flat rate box is not practical. I'm sure you have a good reason for cutting holes in the box. During a pandemic, with many hands touching/processing that box, cutting holes in it is a BAD idea. I'm not to savvy with shipping, but I'd check other options. If you're worried about mold or moisture, they make food safe packs (similar to those found in new shoes or purses) for moisture that you could put in. The carrots would've fit better and banged around less in a padded envelope.
