Cool stuff !!
Very good for my kids (14 years old girl and 9 years old boy) to have practical understanding of very basics of electrical engineering. I have helped them to assemble and able to show them what is gear ratio, what is commutator brush DC Motor and what is DC generator with the kit. Also a nice feature when you remove the red and blue magnets then neither the generator generates electricity nor the motor runs.The toy is not that you build generator or motor on your own hand. Rather it is assembled rotor with 3 commutators and two terminals which can be mounted with plastic gears and permanent magnets to act as BDC motor or generator. The assembly is very easy and it takes maximum 5 minutes for me and 10 minutes for my kids.
