So far, this battery works flawlessly as a replacement for my Acer Nitro 5 battery. The battery life is also great and like it was when my laptop was new. I recommend it 100%

Works well so far, if there is no update then I had no issues since the date of this review. Way cheaper than an OEM battery replacement.

Replaced a dead battery in the laptop. It charges and powers it. No complaints.

I was having a problem with an older Dell laptop and felt that the battery (4+ years old) was the issue. I decided to submit this review as this NEW battery is apparently OK (no issues) but eventually found out that the CHARGER that came with the laptop had failed - which explained the "battery problem" I thought I had (couldn't get the laptop to run even with the charger hooked up after many hours of "charging" plus swapping batteries didn't seem to get rid of the issue either. (???) I had another charger for another Dell laptop (basically the same charger but a different charging amperage) and compared the two: 19.5 volts tested at the plug (of the other charger) with only about 1.5 volts tested (the same way) with the original charger that was connected to the laptop with this NEW battery. Switching to the other charger charged the new battery and, after a few hours, the "charging light" went out with the laptop working as well as could be expected! Obviously it might be wise to check the charger BEFORE buying a new battery as the charger might be the actual problem as it was in my case. Since this battery didn't cost too much I'm OK with the issue and solution at hand. I gave the battery only 4 stars as I REALLY wanted a replacement battery with 9 cells for its additional capacity (7800 mAh) but couldn't find one at a reasonable price (the Dell laptop isn't worth much money). Once the original battery got charged, I put this NEW battery in its place and now have a backup battery in case I need one. Hope this experience helps someone!

Perfect replacement

Battery was installed quickly and works fine.

Everything worked like a charm, back to stock battery life

The part number and everything suggests it should fit my laptop, it looked the same as my old battery, all the details matched. Swapped it in, charged it once, and then it immediately died for good, and took out my drivers in the process. Luckily I was able to salvage some of my important files, but I had to use my old battery to do a new windows installation. This one didn’t let me go past the endless restart loop, didn’t work with a restore, didn’t connect to internet for troubleshooting, nothing. I wasn’t expecting a battery replacement to mess things up so much that I’ll have to waste a precious weekend.
