This is wonderful an full of flavor. Depending on how strong you make your tea, It's a nice variety pack of tea's , they all have a kick to them. I ordered this tea because I made my new years resolution to stop energy drinks. The issue for me is that I have an embarrassingly high caffeine tolerance- a double shot might help me a bit, but I'll still be exhausted, and espresso goes right through me. I'm an avid tea drinker, but even assam black tea doesn't give me the slightest buzz. I ordered this after looking for high caffeine teas online and overwhelmingly good reviews. Having the tea for the first time was definitely strange- You feel more awake, but not the same kind of awake you get from coffee or energy drinks, I'm guessing because of the lack of added sugar and other stimulants. It's a very natural 'awake' feeling, as opposed to a wired feeling. As for the taste of the tea, I have only tried the ones in the variety pack- to be honest, they all kind of tasted the same. Kind of strong menthol-y undertones. I use sweetener with mine and it tastes fine. I wouldn't say it's stellar, but I'm buying it for the caffeine, not for the flavor.

Edited: updated to 5 stars due to user error. I was using my Keurig to produce hot water, but it appears it just wasn’t hot enough to steep well. I put the water in the microwave until I saw visible boiling, ensuring the water was hot enough, then put the tea bags in for the prescribed time frames. This produced substantially better flavor profile that matched the smell. All of the tea packets smelled AMAZING and I wwas so excited to try them and replace my zero calorie energy drinks with tea. I was severely disappointed, and so was my girlfriend. The tea was basically flavorless to the both of us. I tried steeping it for longer to maybe get more flavor as well, but that just made it taste… bad? Bitter? But still without any flavor that was purported to be a “best new tea”. I bought it primarily for caffeine, so I did feel like it had some effect in that regard. But that’s about it.

Taste and aroma is good. For a sample pack, it definitely has great value. Although it states that it has a high caffeine content, I didn’t find it any stronger than a plain cup of tea. While I thought it would be an energy tea, it was not.

Tea tastes so good sugar is not always needed to get it down. All flavors taste great and dont leave any strange aftertaste. The one listed as spicy is not at all i have no spice tolerance and was leary of that flavor and its just fine.

I recently discovered that my back pain was in part the result of my coffee habit that increased in intensity with my daily coffee consumption. I had a hair test done and discovered i had a "coffee sensitivity," so I was on a mission for a replacement. This is when I found Zest Tea! Some of the flavors (the samba berry for me) can be a bit overwhelming, but the caffeine is a welcome punch in the face with no crash. I drink it In the morning with a little honey and it lasts the entire day. I am able to fall asleep easily at night without the brain exhaustion that I would typically get with coffee. My back pain was reduced significantly, and BONUS- Zest tea replaced my pre-workout supplements. There is also most definitely is a focus aspect to it that helps with my workout and with the college classes I'm taking. It helps me keep up with my little guy - he is 4. Thanks for making this stuff! It's a lifesaver!
