I tried this new method of installing cable on an uncoupling membrane and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The cable was a perfect fit and the layout options were endless, so much more flexibility than using those plastic strips. The installation was fairly hassle free, and the non-programmable thermostat is so simple to operate, I could never quite get my head around all those programmable thermostats. The membrane I used was from nuheat but I think most will work just as well.
