Halwa is really lajawab and very yummy.All my family loved it ,it's also very fresh and can be stored for few days in air tight container.I liked it so much that even gifted to my mom and dad,and also one more thing that is important to know is it's price is good.Thanks to seller as well as Amazon from the bottom of my heart.

Very disappointed with this product. The ingredients listed on Amazon say rice powder and maida, but the actual packet I received mentions corn flour instead. The taste is totally different from authentic Kozhikode halwa. This is misleading and unacceptable. I trusted the description, but it turned out to be inaccurate. Please verify and update the product details — customers deserve transparency.

I purchased the black coconut halwa and thoroughly enjoyed every last piece. It is a single block and needs to be sliced as required. I sliced the block into bite-sized pieces put them in an airtight container and put the container in the fridge - even though the instructions say not to refrigerate because I was afraid that the coconut oil would get rancid if kept out for too long. I did not find any alteration to the taste, but in fact I found it stayed fresh to the end and tasted better - just my preference. The coconut oil does get congealed in the fridge, but if that bothers anyone, the slices required can be placed at room temperature for sometime before consuming them. I will certainly consider reordering as and when, I require
