there are many variations of the motion sensor, but we want it for one thing only. An elderly, mentally handicapped person getting out of bed at night. By putting it under the bed as suggested, it works perfectly.

Works great and nice alert sounds that don't startle you. Volume option is very nice too. Only issue is the cat always sets off one alert so had to get a chair pressure alert instead lol.

Worked great and was simple to set up out of the box. It worked great for taking care of my grandmother during her time. Was able to adjust motion sensors to watch the floor and her crossing her bed edge before she could move off her bed at night.Bright, tons of different tones, amazing amount of modes and you could add additional units for monitoring.

This is a great product. Elderly father-in-law lives with us. He is a high fall risk and has dementia. Wanted something that would alert us when he sat up on the edge of his bed in the night before trying to stand and walk to the bathroom. We put it on the floor under his bed. It worked perfect. The alarm part is portable so my husband sleeps with it by his night stand. It has adjustable volume level so you can set it for whether you are a light or heavy sleeper to wake you up at the first movement of patient. Also, because it is portable when his Dad lays down in the afternoon my husband brings it with him to the living room while he watches TV so he is always aware of what his Dad is up to. The only modification I made to the motion detector for our use was that the visual area was wide so even after my husband got his Dad up it would continue to detect motion when they got out of the room and into the hall. Because my father-in-law moves slowly the alarm would go off numerous times. By putting a piece of masking tape over the lens on the area on the side by the hall I was able to restrict the motion pick up to the area where he put his feet over the bed and once my husband was helping him toward the hall the alarm would stop. Also, nice is there are many choices for alarm sounds/songs.

We bought this to put in our hallway to know when our toddler gets out of bed and roams the house. It works every time, has good sensitivity, and was easy to set up because it is paired out of the box. The sensor is on the ceiling about forty feet from our bedroom where the base station is and there are no reception issues. There's an off and on button on both the sensor and the base station, which I appreciate so we can save battery during the day.The bad, and these are minor issues but annoying: The tones are all kind of annoying and there are no short simple chimes, there are all about 5 second chimes. Also, the lowest noise setting is still about twice too loud. We use this when we are asleep, so maybe this isn't the intended use case, but lower loudness settings would be very nice.

Install the sensor, so my mother doesn't fall set everything up took less than 10 minutes everything seems to be working fine as of right now day one

Very good product

I have bought this product 4 times in the past year. It's very helpful for us in monitoring my Mom especially at night, and we need it so badly. However, it stops working for no reason. If there is any alternative out there, I will not buy this one again. I am hoping for a better product that's good for the money and environment.
