the SMALL TOTE | Waxed Cotton Canvas small shoulder tote bag with leather straps

Love this bag, got it for summer because I think leather is to hot for summer. I would consider this a medium size tote with great organizational qualities, 2 nice sized slots on the inside and a good sized zip pocket on the other side... the interior is a muted red color, I was concerned by the picture it would be to bright of a red but thankfully it is not. It is all canvas except for the straps, which are a warm brown color, well done and thought out. Whoever designed this knew what they were doing, It is lightweight and comfortable as well as sturdy and STANDS UP on its own empty. EVERYTHING is visible when you open the bag! Zippers are strong and sturdy. It does not have an outside pocket which I have decided I prefer because things can fall out if the handbag falls over or it can be stolen, which happened to me, with cell phone in the outside pocket. It goes with everything for daytime work or casual. I highly RECOMMEND THIS HANDBAG 👌👌

I really liked this bag - just what I was looking for. But the way it was packed left permanent creases on the straps and the canvas on the bottom. I know it's supposed to have a rustic look, but these flaws make it look needlessly cheap. Sad really...

Love the bag, but a bit smaller than I wanted. It does hold quite a bit and is sturdy and looks great.

Got this bag to go with the weekend bag (matching). I guess it’s considered a woman’s item but it doesn’t really look that way with the duffel which is of the same good quality. Nice red lining and plenty of pockets. Waxed canvas is really cool stuff. Pretty rugged and can be rewaxed(?) I think if it starts to loose it’s water repellency. This is what you had before all these synthetic materials like Cordura, poly silk and of course Goretex. Nice stiching and overall workmanship. Made overseas but it appears that for the most part Asia makes sewn technical apparel etc. that is better than the majority (not all) of U.S. made stuff I’ve seen. If these were made here I probably wouldn’t have bought because of price being tripled. I wanted a weekend set of bags that looked civilian. I usually look like I’m deploying when I go anywhere. These bags still offer a few good spots for your pistol just Incase that interests you. Great design and great construction. Nice and understated quality. Will probably shorten straps on this one so it doesn’t look so much like a purse. MacBook etc. fit great though.

Durable, comfortable, and versatile. It's very well made and it's a nice size for the daily shlep or as a small overnight bag. I had a leaky water bottle that spilled all over it and it still looks great, without any sign of damage.. even on the suede straps! Very well designed, and I think it will last a while. I want to get my mom one! It would be cool if it came in other colors.

This is a high-quality tote. Love it! The waxed canvas suede finish on the outside with a red silky lining is elegant. The size is perfect for everyday use and/or travel. This is my second Fat Felt purchase (the dopp kit is also awesome) and the products are well made, durable, and unique. The tote looks like it will last many many years and only get better with age. A refreshing side note: the Fat Felt owners/designers follow-up on your order to make sure you are happy with their products. I hope they expand their product line soon! Love love this tote!

This bag is exactly what I wanted, a horizontal tote with a zipper, colorful interior, and one that would stand on its own. I carry school files and folders along with a small clutch purse. There is one interior zippered pocket, which is deep. The two open interior pockets are also deep enough and low enough in the bag to accommodate a phone without feeling like it's going to fall out. The red interior is not loud, but bright enough to see the contents. The interior lining fills out the entire bag, unlike some cheap totes where the lining feels cheap and doesn't allow you to utilize the entire interior. The zipper is loose on one end, which allows you to fully open the bag. The only downside is that using the zipper compresses the items at the top, like if you're carrying a lot of folders. The leather handles are long enough to sling over your shoulder and are sewn well. Overall, this is a great bag that looks like it will stand up to much wear and tear.
