【3rd Upgrade】 6.0Ah 40V Replacement Battery for Greenworks 40V Battery G-MAX 29472 29462 29252 20202 22262 25312 Cordless Power Tools Lithium-ion Battery

The media could not be loaded. Battery is 6 amp. It’s supposed to last longer than my original 5 amp battery, it does not even last half that time.Other issue is the battery shows that it still has half life/charge left in it when you check the battery. But the mover won’t start. I also tried with self propel since it take less power and it behaves the same way.Update:Seller was prompt on contacting me and was willing to fix the issue. They send me a new battery and that worked as expected. It holds charge and works as good as my original green works battery. It’s good to see a company stand by their product. Updating my rating from 1 start to 5 as the seller fixed the issue and the battery works as expected.

I'm always a bit reserved with third party parts, especially batteries that could potentially ruin a device if not to standards. However, this battery fit and worked well both in the charger and the mower without any disfunction. The battery casing looks well finished without flaw and appears as durable as the OEM battery, but for a significant price reduction as compared to OEM.Update: After a couple of uses, the battery works well, but does not last as long as the OEM 40v 5 Ah battery. The power ran out at about 80 percent completion in very similar conditions. The OEM was able to finish the task a week earlier and still have about 1.5 bar remaining on the meter. I would estimate that this battery was more equivalent to a 4 Ah than the advertised 6 Ah. However, it did again fit and power well. I still am satisfied having this as a backup battery.

Larger and heavier than the original battery, but fits my charger and my tools nicely, and DEFINITELY lasts far longer than the original!

This battery is complete junk. It worked about 5 times in less than 12 months and then it just totally died. It will not recharge and when I press the power level button on the battery, none of the lights will light up. I have found that almost all of these Chinese no-name batteries end up doing this...they last long enough to get past the return date and then they die. I definitely do NOT recommend this product.

The battery works very well so far. It lasts just as long as the batteries that came with my lawnmower.

I've had my lawn mower for 5 years, so the original battery isn't lasting as long as it used to. This is an excellent back up battery. It fit my mower and charger perfectly.

I have three different 40v Greenworks tools (Trolling motor, Snow Blower, 19' Lawn mower) and the battery would not fit unless modifying but cutting off two plastic channels. Worked once on snow blower for 5 minutes before draining and will not charge on any of my Greenworks chargers. Charger shows fully charged but it is not. The advertisement states it works on 60 different Greenworks tools (it doesn't) and also has a 1 1/2 year warranty (it doesn't and could not return to AMZ. Buyer beware.****** Update March 21, 2023 The seller reached out with apologies and full refund. It was mentioned that the batteries have been updated to correct previous issues. I have revised my review to reflect a seller who does back their product and warranty.

This is definitely not 6.0 Ah. This is more likely a 4.0 Ah battery, so less power than you would expect. Hence 4 stars. However, you can't beat the price of this compared to an OEM battery of the same caliber, so it's worth the price. This fits perfectly with my Greenworks dual-blade push lawnmower and works with my existing battery charger. I have used this for the last 3 months, and I can say that it works perfectly fine and is durable.
