Yes, this product contains Certified Organic Sheep Sorrel - whole plant Including the Roots. We meticulously follow the Exact Recipe of Rene Caisse and Dr. Charles Brusch.

Q: Is this powder intended to make into tea, or is it taken diirectly as a supplement?

It is intended to be used as tea- dissolves right into heated water. I usually don't do well with herbal teas, but this one pretty good!

Q: Has this tea been tested for heavy metals?

Yes, all of our products are free of heavy metals.

Q: I’m a little confused about the directions. They say consume 9oz a day? This bag only has 8oz in it?

You only use about 1 oz of the tea and it takes a day to make it. You put it in a large pot with recommended water (makes about 2 quarts at a time. After letting it boil it has to sit for 24 hours. I keep it in 2 quart jars. I cover the jars with foil because it says to keep in amber colored jars and I didn't have any.
