I got these as stocking stuffers for the whole family because we all wear some type of glasses. And I, for one, was getting tired of trying to get them clean using my shirt. Sure, I have some of the fancy cloths that came with my glasses, but I don't always have the case with me. I keep one of these in my car -- for my sunglasses -- and on my coffee table for my regular glasses. They aren't like the fancy ones you see on TV, but then again, they don't cost nearly as much. From what I can tell, they are simply microfiber, which works really well to clean glass. These definitely get off more oil and grime than my shirt typically does. I don't use them every day so I don't know how long it will be until they are too dirty to use and need replacing, but for about $1 each, it's not a big deal. Being that they're microfiber, you could probably hand wash them a few times and keep using them so I'll update my review if I end up doing that. I'm thinking that soaking them in some OxyClean might be a good way to do it. But until then, I'm just happy that my glasses are finally clean.

I know these aren't exactly new, nor are they some kind of amazing innovation, but after using microfiber cloths to clean lenses for the last 30 years, I decided to try these. The biggest drawback using microfiber cloths is tat you never truly get to the edge of the lens, especially at the corners; I'd wipe the lenses with a cloth, and still see foggy areas around the corners of the lenses. Also, applying adequate pressure to clean the lenses with a cloth, while holding it by the frame has caused me to pop more than one lens from my frames. This little beauty takes care of all of that; it gets into every corner of the frame, making the lens crystal clear all the way around. And since equal pressure is applied to both sides at once, I don't pop lenses out of the frame anymore. It's a simple gadget, but it's something I use everyday, and it makes me happy that it works so well. I even use it around the edges of my iPhone; the edges of the iPhone aren't as tricky as the edges of lenses, but it works so well, there's no reason not to. Plus, they're practically free, so there's no reason not to get some.

If you're like me and have the anti-reflective coating on your glasses, you know just looking at your glasses the wrong way gets them smudged. These little microfiber tongs are a great solution to quickly clean them without the spray. Doesn't get them 100%, but it does a great job. My only complaint is the smudge and dirt gets squeeged to the edge which will require a more thorough cleaning later. For a quick clean, this is your tool.

I have been using these now for at least 2 years.. if you have something unusually wet or slimy on your glasses you need to clean that with a wipe first, but if you want crystal clear these will do the job. And I’ve been able to reuse them several times and they still work good ...Easy to use never leave a streak. Spray lenses with water do anything you need to do. Then, you could use one of these and they do a great job. My glasses have never been cleaner or looked clearer! And yes they are reusable just keep them in a sealed bag or somewhere where obviously don’t get dust and dirt on them. They get right and up to the edge of the frame.. my wipes don’t always do that. Work on glass or other lens material as well..

These are so handy! They do take a little more work to get your glasses clean but I would still recommend them and I would repurchase. I've included a picture of one of our extra ones below

I love these little eyeglass cleaners. I carry one in my glasses case all the time. It's fun to pull it out and demonstrate it to friends. AND they make great stocking stuffers!

Scratched the lenses on my $700.00 glasses! Garbage.

First specs needs to be washed with water. Then u need to wipe else it might scratch the glass. Leaves smudge even after wiping specs. Very bad product, of Chinese make. Zeiss spec cleaning wipes r way better.
