No lime smell. It smells a little like rubbing alcohol.

I grew up on Limacol and my Mom used it mostly on us when we had a fever. She rubbed us down with it and saturated a piece of soft cloth then put it on our forehead. Can also be used on face after shaving, but be prepared for it giving off a burn after use. I would not recommend for sensitive skin since it’s a strong topical solution with a lasting smell maybe for half an hour or so.
