I just set it up but so far so good. It does have some flakey things but nothing crazy. My turtles a baby and I don’t even know if he’ll know how to get on it for a while but hopefully he does(I staged the first picture). I like the size also but it’s probably not good for a full sized turtle. And it sticks perfectly to the tank.

Smaller than I thought it would be. Guess that’s my fault for not reading dimensions. Basic attachment. Feels kinda cheap but you get what you paid for.

I bought this to put in my leopard gecko’s tank for more area/ something for her to climb on. It took her a while to get used to it/ actually use it, but she now likes to lay up there! I haven’t had too many issues with the suction cups- it hold her weight well. The only downside is that she likes to just jump off of it instead of gently heading back down!

The item description states that this size is suitable for turtles under 30 cm. Living in the United States where we have never been taught the metric system, I googled and discovered that equals 11". So my 7" turtle should be pretty comfortable basking up there, right?This shelf is so small, I am going to guess the maximum size turtle that could comfortably sit on it would be 4". And if your turtle is that size, he is going to continue growing, so why waste your time buying this one?In addition to being a completely useless size, it is covered with some green, plastic material that is supposed to look like moss growing on it, but it flakes off and is very crumbly. It is going to be all over the water and since I don't know what that stuff is, I am not going to take a chance that it isn't safe. Decorations should not be crumbling off into the turtle's environment.I returned it.

This is not a very sturdy product. It doesn't stick to the side of the aquarium very well so it frequently floats away. It is also too small for my turtle. If you have very small like 1 to 2-in turtles then it would probably be okay if you found a way to get it to stay inside the glass. The suction cups not sticking to the glass might have something to do with my aquarium or how I fixed it. So I'm not going to discredit it too much for that or for the size, because I should have looked at the dimensions and pulled out a tape measure before purchasing. Purchasing. It's a decent product, if you didn't get it to work right with your setup.

This is not meant for a turtle bigger than the size of a small child’s hand. Our turtle does not even fit on half of this platform. If he tried to get on the platform it teetered so much he fell back in the water. This product came in a bag with no instructions or anything. I had to look at the picture to see how it was put on the tank. It is a neat concept but not good for bigger turtles.

This is a 5 gallon tank. My turtle had a big rock for basking- at first, but as he grew, it gave him less swimming space. I found this suction turtle platform here on Amazon, and it's amazing! My turtle loves it, it gives SO much more space in the tank (will get a bigger tank eventually), and it looks great too! The suction cups work 100% perfectly, and I got a bonus extra suction cup with it too. My turtle didn't go up to bask the first day, about 7pm, that I put this in... but by the same time the next day he(she?) has been loving it. Super glad I purchased this, and I was happy with the price also. Thanks!
