I've been a full-time bass player since the early 1980's and I've been a D'Addario string user for as long as I can remember. They last well, they stay in tune (a BIG plus), the Black Beauties and the tape-wound strings look great on 3 of my basses. I have D'Addario strings on all of my basses, all of my guitars and even on my mandolin.

アイバニーズのセミホロウ5弦フレットレスに張ってみました。ブラックナイロンからの張り替えです。 結果、胴鳴りが劇的に良くなりウッドベースとまではいきませんが、ブンブンと気持ちよく鳴ってくれるように。ブラックナイロンは音は結構好きだったのですが、サスティーンが短いのが不満…。それも解決。 ブライトなサウンドも気に入りました。 ブラックナイロンも面白い弦ですが、よりアコースティックなサウンドが欲しいならフォスファーブロンズおすすめです。

Decent strings, a little rough as they are phosphor bronze, but not munch of a choice when these seem to be the only 5 string sets available anywhere online. I wish D'addario would make 5 string coated sets :)
