what is the length of threaded stem?

The threaded portion is about 2" but the whole stem is about 3" with the last (furthest from the face) inch being smooth.

will this work on an Omnia oven?

I think it would work for any oven, grill or smoker that needs an accurate temperature reading. Not sure what an Omnia oven is. But it should work if you just need a temp taken.

Can this be used by using the screw to place on an oven rack?

If there was a place to put a screw without damaging the temp Guage, you could probably use it to measure oven temperature. There really isn't anyplace to do that though, so just laying it on the rack might work.

Looks great !

The temp guage looks great and works well ! However I did not measure the depth of the probe and it rubs on the cover when I open the BBQ . Measure your original and get it right !

Got to replace older thermometer

Got this to replace thermometer on the pizza oven. Slightly bigger but a lot easer to read. Used it a few times now and the old one went black however this is holding up well.
