Why 4 Stars? Ok, it's a separator and I imagine it works :)1. No flow indication (found out through the seller - seems counterintuitive)2. Not really what I was wanting (my deal, but the flow direction changes it...)3. A little nervous about when the hose torques it around - time will tell.Alrighty, this is NOT for the main connection! This guy is made for the individual tool - REPEAT, NOT FOR TANK, BUT FOR TOOL! The male side threads are cut a bit sharp, but that's ok - I just use five turns of PTFE tape, rather than three (They give that stuff away in every air-kit, so I have plenty)As a result of it's placement on the tool (a paint cup in my case) it will be torqued and moved, and it makes the connection longer than I would like - but that's a preference thing (I could get another swivel I suppose) - this is why I am a little concerned about it's durability, air hose has a way of "pointing out" the weak connections in the line. Who knows? Might outlast my hose and HF connectors!*NOTE TO SELLER!! I don't think it will go anywhere, but you could tell the manufacturer to spend a few hours with a diegrinder on their molds, just etch in a little arrow for flow direction, it's a pretty standard practice with this sort of thing, and would increase the presentation of the tool :)--I doubt they'll care, but it would be rather professional if they did.Seller seems fine, and the thing is popular on Amazon, so who cares what I think!Thanks!

Just as promised

Worked great for my set-up spraying latex paint for small jobs using standard compressor used for nailer. Filter is serviceable so water trapped can be removed and dried out between jobs. Would not recommend for high humidity climates without pre-filter, would work fine for post filter application IMO.

Glass got cracked at the first use. Maybe it came cracked already but I hadn’t checked it, so I can’t blame the manufacturer. However it should’ve lasted longer.

I bought this air filter/liquid seperator for use on my CO2 laser so that I could use my shop air compressor for "Air assist". I found it to work quite well. It is not big or heavy and it appears to be well built/sturdy. I attached it to the end of my reel hose right before it attaches to my laser cabinet. I live in a fairly dry climate so there is'nt a lot of moisture build up to begin with but the filtering seems to be good.
