Germa Mercuro-chrome Mercury Free First Aid Antiseptic Liquid 1 oz

I grew up using Merthiolate which is kind of red in color an stung when applied, but it really did the trick. It would dry of a sore very quickly. But since it contained a organomercury compound of course it was taken off the market. I ordered this and lo and behold its kind of light red in color and kind of stung when applied and it WORKED.

My dad used to treat my wounds with this stuff when I was a kid. I hated it then because it stung more that Bactine did, but he didn't buy that because it was more expensive, and he wanted me to "toughen" up. Anyway, it works as well as it always did. Got an infected or inflamed wound? This is the stuff you want, right here

Este antiséptico Mercurochrome ha sido un básico en mi botiquín desde hace años. Es muy útil para desinfectar pequeñas cortaduras, raspones o ampollas, y lo mejor es que no arde como otros productos.El frasco rinde bastante, ya que solo necesitas una pequeña cantidad por aplicación. El aplicador es práctico y permite usarlo sin desperdiciar producto.Me gusta que el color rojo típico ayuda a ver claramente dónde se aplicó, aunque se va con el lavado. Hasta ahora, siempre me ha funcionado bien y nunca he tenido problemas de irritación o alergia.

I've been using benzalkonium chloride for years. But not this brand. I just purchased it and it burned - like rubbing nail polish on my face and it's pink and has red dye in it, why? I don't like this one and don't trust it.
