Great glue
This glue worked great. I bedazzled coke cans I turned into candles and they look great and none have fallen off. You had enough time to position the gem and it then dried pretty fast. I would definitely buy again. Also having the smaller tubes are nice so they don’t dry out. No smell either

FANTASTIC for gluing rhinestones to leather or plastic
I have a thing for bling! This non-toxic, water-based glue comes in teeny tubes that make it easy to control the flow. It dries clear, so no worries if you put on a bit too much. Thus far, I have successfully blinged a couple of pairs of cowboy boots, my iPad case, and several Pair eyewear glasses toppers (plastic) and even though I have not been the slightest bit careful (tossing my iPad case in my purse, crossing my legs while wearing boots…) not one single rhinestone has budged. I wouldn’t try this on clothing that gets washed, since it is water-soluble, but I am VERY happy with this safe, effective glue!

End hours of sewing frustration with one weird trick!
I couldn't resist the clickbait-style headline, but I really did find an unorthodox use for this glue that makes my life a tad bit easier. I've always hated sewing on buttons and snaps, particularly snaps, because of the way they slither around until you get a few stitches in them. I've never quite mastered the art of pinning down a slithering button or snap half with one thumbnail while getting in those first crucial stitches. But now...enter Gem-Tac. Just glue the button or snap half in the spot you want it with a tiny dab of Gem-Tac, let it dry overnight, and then sew on the button or snap, which will stay solidly in place the whole time without a single slither. WHOA. I no longer have to dread sewing on snaps. It's a revelation. (Okay, I exaggerate. But it does simplify things.) A couple of disclaimers, though. One is that these little tubes are messy. Once the seal is pierced, they ooze glue nonstop, whether you're squeezing the tube or not. The only way to stop the oozing is to put the cap back on and screw it tightly. If you're going to be using the glue for more than one dab, I recommend having a sheet of waxed paper handy to lay the tube on between dabs, and a wet paper towel to wipe the excess glue off the tube tip and your fingers. (But I have to add that those teensy tubes have far more glue in them than you might think. I've glued on over a hundred buttons and snap halves with just one tube, which oozes nonstop every time I take the cap off, and it's still not entirely empty.) Second, so far I've only used the glue on light- to midweight woven cotton fabric. On this type of fabric, the glue dries clear and flexible enough to easily poke a needle through, and it doesn't seep through the fabric enough to leave a visible mark or sticky spot on the underside. But I can't guarantee that it will work equally well on all fabrics, so it's probably wise to test the glue on a fabric scrap or inside seam of your garment before you commit to putting it on a place that will show. Finally, in case you were wondering, you do still have to sew on the button or snap. Maybe you can get by with just gluing on buttons if they're purely for embellishment and don't fasten anything, but the glue isn't strong enough to hold a functioning button or snap for long. But it will make your life a little easier while you're sewing.

Great product!
I use Gem Tak minis to apply flat back crystals to paper. The small mini tubes are great! Sometimes you might need to beware that too much is coming out, especially when you first open it. You can use a paper towel to wipe of the glue and wait for it to stop flowing. Then you have a lot of control to apply a small amount. It seems to dry quickly and does dry clear so if you can see extra glue around the flat back it will dry clear and you won't notice it! Because I am using paper I do not know if you use it on clothing whether it will stay on after washing.

Stays fresh
Love Gem Tac except for how it separates into a clump of thick glue swimming in milky liquid within a few months. Problem solved with little tubes! Product is great.

Works on more than gemstones
I used this on not only smooth flat gems, but also little “trinkets “. Worked great. Would buy again. I recommend buying the smaller tubes, as it is more convenient and manageable.

No shelf life
I bought less than a year ago. First tube was OK when I used it, then went to use it recently, and all the other tubes had tried out, even though they were sealed.
