one size versus standard?

This hat is "adult size" and stretchy. In our experience, it stretched from a size 6-1/2 to a 7 3/4 or so (based on various colleagues who purchased these hats for a party).

How do I take good care of this hat & clean it so that it could last for a long time?

I keep mine in a box in which I have some other such costume accessories. i can't imagine wearing the hat so much that it would become very dirty, but I suppose if it did, I'd take it to the cleaners rather than risk trying to wash it even by hand myself.

Exactly how large is it? Some reviews say it is too small and others say it fits a large adult head. Will it fit an adult male?

I am sure it will . My grandson has a big head for a 6 yr old and wears his dad's caps . And it was a bit big on him .
