Mine is very sticky. Is there a way to lessen the stickiness?

By you handling it over time it will get less sticky.

Is the consistency similar to the mini illusion thinking putty? i have a super scarab that i enjoy and was wondering if this would be similar.

Excellent question, and one that I wish I had asked before buying it. This clear thinking putty, like some of the others, is *very* sticky. I have "Flamingo Feathers" and I've tried others (Shiny Silver & Gunmetal Graphite), which we great. It seems that the ones that are clear (also clear Liquid Glass) are very sticky, and have a tendency to "tear", rather than simply deform. I'm staying away from the clear ones from now on ...

How can I open the can?

The first few times are a little tricky. Just pry it open around the edges and it will come off. I usually have to use my nails! Once you open it a few times, it’s easier.
