Great VALUE!
This product is as described in the description. Although it was not the correct size for myself and the project I was doing, it was a nice, sturdy mold that would work great for its intended purpose: Cheese. I would recommend this product if asked.

Basic Cheese Mold
This mold has worked very well for me. Previously I was using a plastic colander. By using an actual mold I do not have to deal with a colander handle causing the bowl to tip. It is also the perfect size for me and dishwasher safe.

hard to go wrong
It's hard to find something to complain about in a cheese mold. This is exactly as advertized and does the job nicely of holding curds while the whey drains out. I see no flaws in this item, it arrived in a timely manner and has not misbehaved in any way.

Five Stars
Very sturdy mold, will hold up to multiple uses. A great starter mold for anyone interested into making cheese.

Not as useful as I thought it was going to be.
An update on a past review. I got this when I first started learning to make cheese about five months ago. At first I thought it was great, having never used a cheese mold before. What I quickly learn was it isn't all that great. First off it is very flimsy and doesn't keep its shape well. Second, due to the bowel like shape to the mold it doesn't give you a good shape when flipping your curds over as you add more weight to press with so you end up with a badly misshapen block of cheese. And lastly this mold doesn't have a follower to add to it to help with a good pressing. My suggestion, spend the extra few dollars and buy a hard cheese mold with a follower. You will save yourself money and time in the long run. As of now this has just become a small strainer to drain and rinse off beans, vegetables, and other small items. The fact that I have found other uses for it is the only reason it is getting two stars

Sort of, Kind of, but Not exactly...
I suppose it's "OK." I don't use it as a cheese mold however; just as a strainer. I make cheese, and this thing is not properly shaped for pressing cheese. The sides should be "straight up and down," rather than slanting increasingly inward. It makes it impossible to get good pressure on the cheese by placing a follower of some sort (saucer, wooden disc, etc) and a weight on it. The decreasing diameter stops the follower, and your cheese can't be pressed further, without coming up with a differently sized follower; and then doing so again in another day or so.It works dandy as a strainer for the curd. Also, when I take my cheese out of an actual cheese mold, and set it on a board to dry and age, I invert this gadget over the cheese -- like a cage of sorts -- to keep out any flies that might sneak into my kitchen.

Very bad quality
This one of the worst cheese mold out there. The quality is very bad. It arrived broken. And there’s no return policy

basic cheese mold
I have been making cheese for 30yrs and already had one of these which I use to make a Farmers' Cheese. Needed another for my Drunken Goat Cheese recipe.. I , personally, do not recommend it for Ricotta since Ricotta is such a fine curd. I like my Ricotta a little more moist.. depends what I am using the ricotta for.. just feel this wastes too much, but for the other cheeses I mentioned it is great.
