Sig SauerBuckmasters 3-9x40mm 1" Tube Second Focal Plane/SFP/F2 Durable Shockproof Waterproof Fogproof Black Riflescope

I have several other Sig Sauer scopes and have been very pleased with them. This is my second purchase of the Buckmasters configuration. It’s a nice scope for the price and comes with flip-open scope caps installed. That alone is an added $20 value. It’s bright and clear and I like the ballistic reticle which makes longer shots easier. The extended magnification adjustment lever is removable if you prefer not to use it.

Great scope, especially for the price, 2nd focal plane and illuminated reticle.Bought this specifically for an elk hunt shooting heavier rounds than my old Leupold scope was zeroed for. After zeroing this Sig, I won't go back to the Leupold and will be using the heavier loads for deer. The BDC was spot on at 200 and 300 yards (didn't get a chance to check beyond 300, unfortunately).For reference, I live in Nebraska, and have it on a 30-06. 220gr for elk, was set up for deer on 150gr.

Scope is light weight and clear. I put it on my 30-30 it holds zero perfect. The clicks are good sound easy to make 1 click adjustment very positive clicks. Above all really good scope for the price. If I need another scope this will be my choice again good job to Sig

Really very good for the price, glass is decent, but is not perfect by any means. But, for the price, it's really a solid choice :)

Great scope for me. Very clear. I love the dodad that lets you adjust the magnification without looking. I’m always in a tree stand or tent (when it’s cold). I chalk this up as one of my better buys.

I only just got the scope but it appears to be a solid unit. Mounted using the included rings on my Ruger Mini-14 Ranch, purchased new in late 2022. It definitely is the largest scope I could imagine on that rifle with these rings, but it does clear the barrel and rear site adjusted for my eye relief. Lovely. The view through the scope far exceeds my expectations especially at this price point. Full disclosure, I am a newbie and have much more to learn. This weekend is zero weekend, so if something goes wrong I’ll edit this review. Otherwise I think it’s great.

Got the illuminated version of the 3-9x 40mm for an AR-15, reticle is clear and large, while eye relief is generous at around 3.5 inches. Red dot illumination is bright but has too much flare at higher setting. This scope works well for anything situated beyond 50 yards. Closer objects will experience a little blurriness. The Sig 3-9x 40mm is a go!

Husband loves it and the red dot really sold him on it and means he gets to hunt a little longer at night
