This worked so much better than I expected. I have used edible gold paint before but from now on will use this instead. It’s extremely easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I used it over royal icing that had dried as well as a cookie without icing. It took a few coats to go over the blue royal icing, (I suspect had the icing been white, it would have required less to show gold color). I would recommend applying on a cookie without icing. It adheres great and really looks like shimmering gold. I applied it dry using a new small soft paint brush. Don’t use paint brushes with the stiff nylon bristles bc you lose more product that way. Highly recommend and will definitely reorder, although I think this container will last me a very long time. One thing to note, some gold specks (like glitter) showed on the cookie area where I did not apply but hardly enough to really notice but may be important if you are decorating small details.

I ordered the gold edible dust. Chose it to use for my moments when I want to feel luxurious, even with my food. I like how it makes food look, especially chicken wings and ribs.

This is so easy to use! A little dab goes a long way. The bottle looks so small, but it’ll last a while. I bought the gold and the color pops even on dark chocolate

I mixed with rum to use in royal icing for sugar cookies and this was easy to work with but you need a good food quality paint brush to brush it on.

Was easy to work with other than it clumped quite a bit it wasn’t easy to distribute evenly, but I’ve used worse.

I ordered blue to change my pie from white to blue for an shark themed birthday. It has no taste and a great color. I put it in a salt shaker so It would go on more evenly.

I used it on pretzels covered in chocolate and the quality is excellent, It us ease to use, It is also cheap and this was an excellent option for me, It covered a lot!

I bought a variety of brands to test as I needed a good solid gold color shimmer for a party drink. I got it with this one. Yes, it's more expensive than some others but you need less, and it's lasted longer than the others b/c you don't need to use much. Great shimmer, great consistency, isn't gritty and doesn't go to the bottom of the glass. Highly recommend.
