Bought this as an upgrade to my last Casio that lasted the 10 years until the battery died. You can get replacements really cheaply too, so Casio watches certainly have a good lifetime for their price. As for this watch, I love this classic Casio style. It's much smaller as it's based on the original square styles, yet has all the features I like to see and still feels tough. Solar power and radio synchronisation are great as it makes the watch super dependable. I'm sure this'll last as long as my last watch without any maintenance The only downside at first impression is that the inverted screen can be hard to read, but I was aware of this already and with the auto backlight it's not really much of a problem

It's a great watch, it is a negative display so make sure you'll be ok with that before buying, don't let "frequently returned" put you off.I love it, looks great and work great.

Does everything a watch should do perfectly. Time syncs itself so it's always second accurate, shows date and this model does European format, timers, stopwatch and alarms work great and the illuminator works great for darkness. Solar charging and can easily wash it under the tap. Comfortable to wear. Cannot fault this watch.

The only reason I haven't given this five stars is due to the negative display. The 'stealth' look is very nice and it really is a fantastic watch (tough solar and multi band six being two huge bonuses), but I have to say that legibility is an issue. Don't get me wrong, you can tell the time. I just struggled to tell the time at a glance or in poor lighting. This is probably personal and it might not bother you but it bothered me enough to return the watch in favour of the positive display version.

Very happy with this one. Smaller and lighter than I'd anticipated, which was good, as some G-Shock are massive. Fingers crossed, this will be the last watch I buy for quite some time.

After getting a high end g-shock. I wanted a cheap second watch to wear on holidays or when painting the garden fence. It turns out the cheaper watches are a false economy, lasting a Yearvifvi am lucky. Paid little more than I was going too for a cheap second watch and with the solar power battery and auto time adjustment l woul expect to get 10 years before a battery replacement and with the solid build , this is actually a cheap and more environmental solution if I get 10 years usage. This has the reverse screen which is hard to see in some light so not ideal for a primary watch. But as a second watch it's ok In regards to the screen if I had the option to go for a top end g-shock I would never go for this screen type as I would be frustrated that it was difficult to read.

Note that the display is definitely NOT like the picture. It is NOWHERE NEAR as bright or easy to read as shown. You will probably need the backlight, even in daylight. Good news though, it has an automatic light function - but this only works when it wants to ...

I hate grand "over-statements", but, this may well be the best watch I've ever owned and as I've had Omega, Rolex etc etc, it may well be the best watch in the world! Think about the price - not expensive! It updates every night to the exact time via a radio signal! It NEVER needs batteries - it's solar! It doesn't say Mug me!" as it's subtle! It's comfortable and stylish and it's reliable. I bought the previous model ten years ago and broke the strap two weeks ago. The watch was faultless. This replacement will be the same - buy one!

J'aime beaucoup les montres (notamment les montres dites mécaniques) mais ces dernières sont fragiles quand on fait du sport, du jardinage, etc... Donc l'achat d'une montre quasi indestructible ou du moins très résistante s'est imposé à moi. Quitte à faire une concession au quartz autant profiter de ses avantages c'est à dire une précision diabolique. Radio pilotée et chargée par les rayons solaires ou la lumière ambiante cette montre est très pratique au quotidien. J'ai chois i la lecture inverse (c'est à dire caractères clairs sur fond noir) pour des raisons d'esthétiques. La lecture est certes un peu moins facile que sur un écran dit positif (caractères noirs sur fond clair) mais tout à fait acceptable. Je dirai même qu'en plein soleil elle est plus lisible. Seul petit reproche le bracelet est standard et ne propose pas un choix de taille aussi pour mon poignet de 20 cm c'est un peu juste mais ça passe (reste 2 trous mais le passant est limite de ne pas accrocher le brin.
