Awesome Bike!
I bought this bike for physical therapy. I have an injury on my foot and leg and can no longer drive. It's a bit heavy for me but know in time I'll get stronger. I put it together myself, I still need to tighten up a few things but I love it.

This bike won’t disappoint!
Love this bike! I spent about 2 months researching ebikes before deciding which one to get. I wanted one that was well built, reliable, and reasonably priced and well suited for the type of riding I want to do. This bike is all that and more! Instructions were well written and easy to follow; it took us about an hour to put it together and tweak adjustments. When we finished, I took her out for a ride and fell in love! I love that I can use it as a standard bike, have power assist options, or use the throttle to ride it completely powered by the motor. The Shimano gears are smooth and responsive. When you turn on the power, you can feel that motor kick in but it too is very smooth. I put 28 miles on it the first week and the battery was still at 3/4 power! It has a great little display that shows you what mode you have the bike in, your battery status, trip odometer and totals miles traveled; along with all that, it even shows your speed. It has an led headlight that is pretty bright and a working brake light. I haven’t found one thing that I would change on this bike! Special thanks to all the people who sent in their reviews on this bike; I read through at least 100 of them and found them very helpful in making my choice to buy the Heybike. It’s an awesome product for a great price!

Little tricky to assemble but good and solid
The price was great, so as long as it works you cannot really go wrong. I doubt any of the other reviewers are experts on electric bikes. I'm certainly not. It goes fast. It is fun to ride. The battery is easy to take off for charging or carrying it with you. The brake light is a nice feature. I bought a basket for the front. I have had it for almost a month and use it almost every day. I'm glad I spent less than $500 because I can't imagine I would appreciate or even notice the difference between it and a $1000 model.Four stars because assembly is never as easy as expected. Luckily there is You Tube. My daughter accidently put the handlebars on before some other widget and we could not get the handlebars off. We needed a strong guy with vice grips to help us.

Heybike CityScape & 5 months later
8/13/22 Below is my review from mid-March. I've had my bike 5 months now, still lovin' it!!! Just sayin' :) Added 2 more pics... grocery store, and night ride.3/17/22 ..Took my e-bike out for a test run today. Love it ! Went out in the afternoon when most people are at work so I could test it on the road without worry of getting hit. Started off in “mode zero”, in this mode can pedal it like a regular bike. I pedaled down my driveway, put in mode 1, and it took off…lol kind of surprised me. It didn’t take long to get used to the different modes. I got up to 23mph.. was fun! Handled well on a smooth road. Also went on a bumpy bike trail in “pedal assist”, handled well again. I did have a little trouble keeping the seat secure, it kept slipping loose. I had to put it higher to make it hold tight. Which is really too high for me, I’m 5’4ish. I’ve asked about a lower seat, hope I can get one. As you can see in my photo, I bought the saddlebags, and a lock. Nice looking bike. Solid. Since my ride today, I’ve ordered the mirror (I'd feel safer with one) and the phone holder. I will definitely use this bike a lot, not only for pleasure, but also to run errands. No need for gas. Good exercise. Relaxing. And fun ! I really do love it. I hope it lasts years. Not sure where to take it if I have any issues. I’ll have to call around. Btw, the bike is pretty easy to put together. I’m a 66 year old female... if I can do it, anyone can😊 And kudos to the customer service department! They are attentive, reply quickly, and friendly. That’s a plus, good business. My recommendation… buy the bike !!!! lol Someone mentioned putting on the frontfender and light... I too had a hard time with that. Was planning to go to Ace Hdwr to buy a longer screw. I contacted the seller first, they replied to do it a different way, and they sent me a pic. Check it out. It's the only way it works with that small screw.

Value, durability, and comfort.
We now have 1280 miles on our CityScape, which was purchased last year. We are pleased with the performance. Especially the durability. In June of last year the CityScape was locked to a bike rack and covered with a high quality motorcycle cover. A severe storm came out of nowhere and a 60 mph wind gust with very heavy rain knocked the bike over and blew the cover off. The bike was laying on ground covered with a half inch of water. The battery was not in the bike. I grabbed the bike and brought it inside within few minutes after the incident. The bike was thoroughly drenched. I dried it off and parked it in front of a fan overnight. The next day it performed as well as it had previously. After that I didn't worry about getting caught in the occassional rain shower. The range and speed are satisfactory. On "level 3 pedal assist" the battery lasted 28 miles. The CityScape will pull a large pet trailer loaded with over 100 pounds of dog or groceries. With a little added leg power it will maintain speeds of 19 mph on flat terrain under such a load. We usually go about 15 miles with the trailer and there's always a little charge left in the battery when we get home. This bike is pretty heavy so caution is recommended for seniors attempting to carry it up a flight of stairs.During the first few hundred miles there were frequent brake adjustments. After getting everything adjusted correctly the CityScape has served well in replacing the family car. This bike has enabled us to save much more than it cost by making living without the financial burden of car ownership a little easier. And a lot more fun.At the current price it is being offered, I would consider it one of the tops choices for an ebike on a budget. It was well worth the $899 we paid for it.
