Works great!
It fit perfectly up underneath a small groove that wasn't airtight. Did a good job without the glue in this case. It is a small BOXWOOD STOVE. The glue stuff sealed up any gaps and cracks and holds up in high heat very well.

Easy to use
Easy installation and instructions were clear. I only needed a sharp knife to cut the rop to length. The cement comes out at frosting consistency(between toothpaste and whip cream)

Did the Job
This kit did the job to replace the door gasket in my Craft Stove fireplace insert. Be sure that you measure carefully so that you get the right size. Measure the width and depth of the gasket channel around the door and select the larger of the two measurements. You can also try to measure the diameter of the old gasket. There was plenty of adhesive with this kit to secure the gasket. Clean the gasket channel thoroughly to remove any residual gasket material and/or old adhesive. Wipe the channel out with a little acetone (nail polish remover). You will most likely have to cut the gasket to size. You can affix a piece of masking tape to the end of the gasket, insert it into the lower middle channel of the door and press the gasket into place to determine where the gasket needs to be cut for a perfect fit. Place another piece of masking tape on the end that needs to be cut. Allow for a little extra length that can be trimmed off when you glue the gasket in place. Remove the gasket and wipe the inside of the channel with a damp cloth. Then apply the adhesive in an uninterrupted solid bead inside the channel gasket. Again starting at the lower middle section of the door, press the gasket firmly into the adhesive in the door gasket channel, but don't stretch it. When the ends finally come together, trim off any excess gasket material through the masking tape to get a clean cut, remove any residual masking tape and press the gasket ends together with a little extra adhesive. I let the adhesive set overnight. I initially had a little trouble closing/latching the door after the new gasket was installed, but I pressed the exposed gasket edges around the entire length of the gasket, then "slammed" the door while simultaneously engaging the latch. I kept the door closed and latched overnight and was able to readily open, close and latch the door after that. I then checked that the gasket provided an adequate seal by holding a piece of paper inside the door seal and closing/latching the door. If you have a good seal, you shouldn't be able to remove the strip of paper when the door is closed. Check the seal in several places around door to make sure it's tight. Per the adhesive instructions, you should start a fire sometime within 30 days after the gasket is installed to fully cure the adhesive, gradually increasing the stove temperature to around 500 degrees F. You can see my finished gasket installation in the attached photo.

Ok
Product took a long time to be shipped and when it did arrive the tube of adhesive was split open on the end.. I had to tape it shut to be able to squeeze it out the tip to apply..other than that mess it worked well on stove

Utilisé pour refaire le contour de la porte d'un foyer encastré combustion lente. Très supérieur au joint de couleur blanche. Hermétique, solide, facile à installer. Excellent.
