I installed this without the right amount of caution the first time, and I think the diaphragm was not fully seated as it needed to be. I could tell because after my first drive, which seemed to fix my problem, there was the return of the previous uneven idle. When I pushed on the round cap, I could get it to go up and down very slightly. I very carefully removed it again to reinstall. When I did this, I realized it was impossible to get the diaphragm in the cap, then turn the cap over and have it seat as it should, so I put a small layer of dialectric grease around the inside rim of the cap when upside down, put the diaphragm in there, put another small layers of grease. I could then turn over the cap without it falling out. Then very carefully put the cap on and make sure there is any movement of the cap once it's clipped in. Not complicated, but without that seal the whole system is not right. Overall it's $15 vs. buying the whole assembly, which is about $115 OE and twice that for OEM. I don't know if this will last as well as those, but so far it has solved my issued.
