This is a pad with relatively heavy paper. It takes on multiple media well, especially if you want to mix watercolour with coloured pencil. It's got weight to handle the watercolour and the tooth for the coloured pencil. Ofcourse it's always a compromise when going for multiple media on one paper.

Good quality

The papers are smooth texture, little thin, the pigments stays well for watercolor, you can also do negative painting but if you use masking fluid it's quite tricky while removing it, because it might cause tearing of paper!

For a long time I was eyeing the prices to buy this sketchbook. It works great for alcohol based and water based color pens. They have provided a thick sheet that can be kept beneath the paper before colouring so that the ink does not feather on other pages. The pages are of good quality. Over all the book is quite sturdy yet compact. A must buy.

Value of money

Packet was nicely packed and came with a text manual which gets you friendly with transparent protective layer that comes with this book. For 200 gsm, I felt it almost reached the 200 gsm mark. Maybe it's 180, but that's just my own personal opinion based on other craft supplies I've used. about it being a mixed media paper - Well, it did took the water well, with as much warp as I've seen with a watercolour speciality paper. No complaints there. it is indeed a good mixed media paper and can take some brutal spraying of water, so I'll say go for it. I got this for Rs 460

It is worth it . The file is smooth and clean and it is white in colour. If you are a beginner you should try this. There seemed portability of liking this file. ❤

My personal experience has been average. I find the paper a bit rough and dry for the marker pens and even the pastel pencils.
