A plain biscuit with a difference
These plain cheese biscuits are amazing. Just love the triangular shape. They are brilliant with cheese and also just so good with just butter. I also love them with just jam or marmalade on. They are very crispy and delicious. I have tried to buy them in supermarkets but cannot get them. Shame as they are so different. I always get them from Amazon and they are well packed so they do not break in transit using recyclable packaging.

Proper crisp bread
I was delighted with this bread. Unfortunately it's expensive to purchase it this way. BUT it's proper crisp bread as it should be. I can't stand Ryvita which is unfortunately the only crisp bread available in Scottish shops it seems. It's too bland, too crumbly, too thin and lacks the yummy taste and proper bite of Leksands.

A handier size than the big round crispbreads.
I got hooked on this crispbread while living in Sweden to study. I was so pleased to find it here, but storing those big round crispbreads was tricky : they’re about 30cm across with a hole in the middle, which my Swedish friends told me were used traditionally to hang them from the ceiling on poles or strings ( yes, it does sound like they were pulling my leg!) but these small slices are easier to deal with in a modern kitchen. No strings necessary! The taste and crunchiness are just as delicious, and they fit into a lunchbox.
