Great work-phone..
Superb rugged use work-phone, used daily in work-van & grotty overalls pocket, superb tough quality phone, still stylish & modern looking despite being strong enough to get thrown around transit-van & toolbox. Superb IMHO. not used for games nor dating sites, mainly basic work related phone & camera stuff underground sewers & industrial sites.. . dead durable & reliable .. 5/5 IMHO..

Freedom
I love this phone, I have the 6gb variant. I have taken a star off because the speakers on the phone itself aren't great, they crackle and the volume goes up and down, also there's no native music player app, however, playing music through external speakers or headphones is absolutely fine. Taking pics isn't really something I have done loads of as I haven't had the opportunity but the ones I have taken are perfectly acceptable, there is a manual mode so if you do know what you're doing, there is a degree of control(I don't), portrait mode setting is good for quick shots, there's also a night mode. The screen colours can look a Iittle washed out and pale, even with the warmer setting, but I like a darker screen anyway so for me, it's not that noticeable when watching tv. I realized I just didn't use nor need all the bells and whistles that flagship phones have, I never used them on my recently discarded high end Sony Xperia 1 ii and as much as I told myself I would learn about photography to get the best out of it, well I just didn't, and 4k is great if there is actually anything available to watch, also the licensed case cost over £40 for my old phone, so not needing a case is a real bonus; with this phone I am not scared of dropping it, which I haven't yet btw; it's reassuringly wide without being overly thick and not an issue for my fat but small hands to handle. I have no case on it, nor do I have a screen protector, I just have faith that it won't shatter when dropped, I did buy a wrist lanyard, Nokia really should supply one, although if I am being honest, depending on your needs, it probably isn't something everyone will want, having said that, they are missing a trick with the free advertising, because actually, the phone is aesthetically very pleasing, I have the green, generally I opt for black phones cos you're probably going to put a case on it, but people have coveted it after seeing it with no restrictive case. Battery is pretty good, have been watching football on it and I would say it lost about 9% -10% over 90mins, I have about 33 % left at present and that's after about 14hrs of use, including 3hrs of watching said football and TV over the net, I am not a gamer though so I don't know how it would perform, having said that, I have played the odd game and it seems fine. It has wireless charging which has been great, I use my kindle fire 8 charger so it's also a stand and that works very well. The internet connection hasn't dropped, I can't comment on 5g as I don't think it's available where I live, although it's supported by the phone, Bluetooth is easy to connect and it has an expandable memory, the fingerprint scanner however, can be erratic but I don't think that's unique to this phone having had issues with my Xperia, (it could also be down to user error), the only phone I have had to send away to be fixed, to give some context, I have had many, many phones!! All in all, it's a workhorse of a phone, my priorities may be different from yours but if you're a parent whose kids mess with your phone, or you're accident prone, careless, just wanting something functional you're not scared of breaking cos it would cost too much to replace, but looks good, this phone is great.

Never get tired of Nokia perfection.
This phone is amazing, I love how well it works. I've only ever had Nokia phones I sware by their quality, the last one I had, the Nokia 6.1 lasted for around 5-6 years, of which only two problems occured, the battery wore out and the charging port broke. This phone is amazing but I'm biased for Nokia, but with how long it lasted, I anticipate a long service From this one too. *Just a quick note, I do not use facial recognition on my phone so I can not atest to the quality of that feature.

Good value. Not
Obviously cannot give 5 stars as it broke. And now the replacement broke, and the Nokia I bought because i liked the wife's phone has broke. That's 3 for 3 in under 18mths. That no matter how you spin it is BAAAAD. Wife likes it, that alone is something, looks ok not bad to use apart from the sketchy fingerprint sensor. Had an issue with not charging, no issues, spoke with amazon, few checks to run through an done, return it for full refund. Wife was happy enough with the phone, even with the charging failing I have just ordered another. As she said, with back up like that, so what if it has an issue when in 24 hrs you can have a replacement. Well done Amazon and I trust the battery thing was a one off. Update It wasn't, the replacement has failed as well and will be returned forthwith, the only safe way to charge it is wirelessly. It melted 2 charger leads that got hot enough to melt the plastic around the port on the phone, leaving the phone so hot i was considering launching it into the garden. Mine will now not make or receive calls, only texts. Must say again amazons returns are great, Nokia, don't make the mistake of thinking their returns process or warranty is worth spit. It isn't, you need to wait in for a courier to collect, after completing a yawning process online. Its returned to their centre in Romania where it will take 10 to 15 days to be returned to you. It is made very clear in the print that if no fault is found the whole lot is chargeable to you and the unit will be returned at cost to you. Even if destructive methods are used. The system wont let me drop it lower than 3 stars, I think nokia deserves none.

Weird battery and software issues constantly
In terms of being an extremely hard wearing phone it is actually fantastic. 5 months in with no case or screen protector and barely a scratch. This phone does have two major issues though. Firstly even with moderate use the phone gets extremely glitchy very quickly. I have to delete cache and turn the phone on and off daily. This is really annoying when you need to do something quick. Also since the last update the phone shows as charging but actually isn't. Looking online this is affecting many people not just myself. I have to soft reset the phone to get the charge to work. Again this is extremely annoying especially when you wake up with zero battery despite it showing as charging rapidly at bedtime. I'd send the phone back for repair but can't afford to be without it for a few weeks so effectively I'm trapped. Do yourself a favour and by a regular phone and a decent case.

Bargain phone
Brand new Nokia XR20 128gb + 6gb RAM. Great price and nice replacement for my X20 which dropped off my car roof at 40mph and was then run over! The X20 was still working enough to send location data and ring when dialled! I will try not repeat with this one! The only downside is that the camera doesn't have the macro mode that was on the X20.

Great phone for those who don't want to spend a fortune
Very nice phone to look at and hold. Light weight for its size, and well built. Screen is larger than the S6 it is replacing and provides a great viewing experience. Slightly long for back pocket of jeans ... Battery life good. Overall, a good value phone.
