My 6 year old is getting ready for a bone marrow transplant and the only way we can get meds in her is by breaking down the adult size capsules and funneling into these size 3 capsules. The quality is excellent and these are affordable.

My Vet gave me a couple gel caps when I had to give my cat a split pill that was known to have a horrible taste and the gel cap would go down easier, which it did. I ordered these and they work great, my cat takes 3 pills in the morning, all split and they all fit in this gel cap so I only have to keep track of one pill getting spit out instead of 3 LOL He still can spit it out, but at least I don't have 3 slimy or melting pills to deal with, the gel cap doesn't dissolve quickly so if it's spit out I can retry. Not a big gel cap but perfect for the size pills I'm giving.

My photography college student needed this product for images and an assignment. I was surprised we could even find this. Amazon has everything!!!!! They worked for the project and design.

When my bestest boy was diagnosed with advanced heart disease and put on multiple medications, I was at a loss on how to get all the pills into a cat each day. We tried treats, hiding them in food, compounded liquids, everything. We were completely stressed out. But finally I tried putting the pills into these capsules and it was a game changer! He receives one of these capsules twice a day that contain four different medications between them. I use a tiny bit of unsalted butter to coat the cap and make it slippery, poke it in his throat, close his mouth, kiss him on the nose — and like magic, it goes down — followed by a treat. This has made our medication times SO much less stressful, easy in fact, and in nearly 5 months of treatment we haven't missed a single dose.

I have only used one color, but for what I needed it for which was to put two doses of the same type of pill in a capsule in a bigger capsule so I didn't have as many pills to take or some in morning and some at night it worked out great for me. So maybe next time make them all large size but the multicolor works as well .

I got my cat back after his I-131 radiation treatment for hyperthyroidism, and I had a couple of different meds to give him. It was super annoying because the pills were so small. They would fall out of the pill shooter or get stuck. I originally got these pill pockets but found them to be a bit bigger than needed. I ultimately switched to size 4 and size 5. I use size 5 for just one of the meds and size 4 when I need to give both. They fit perfectly in the pill shooter and come out on the first try. I can control better where it goes and get it right down his throat rather than on the side where it would end up in his cheeks and be spit out later. I think they also help to mask the taste of the meds, so he doesn’t hold it in his mouth as long, wanting to spit it out. He swallows it right away. I can’t recommend these enough. They are perfect for my situation and budget-friendly. My only mistake was getting the clear ones instead of a variety of colors. The clear ones were easy to miss if he happened to spit one out. Having multiple colors helped me use a different color for each med and another for when both are in one. Still giving these the full 5 stars even though they weren't what I needed. That was my fault, and the smaller sizes from this same company were exactly what I needed. I'll find something else to use these for :)

I need to divide medications for my fur-boy. These are great capsules to fill with wither powders or liquids because they are gelatin. I tried the 100 count, went through those, and I was so happy with them, I now buy the 500 count.

The product is as described. However, the bag was short 50 capsules. Instead of the full 500 capsules, it was actually 450 capsules. Bummer.
