This mask noticeably boosts your skin's hydration with it's unique application, and powerful detoxifying gel compound. You break the seal in the two part pouch to release the gel into the mask when you're ready to apply it. Once the gel is absorbed into the mask, it takes on a slimy gelatinous texture, and is slippery to touch but is cooling and adheres well to the face and there is a light fresh floral scent. The eye and nose and mouth cutout isn't perfect but any size face can adjust to it. After 10-20 min you remove and discard the mask. My face felt smoother, softer and much more hydrated than before. The effects can last a couple weeks, so with four in a pack, you can remain looking youthful and hydrated for a couple months with use every other week. Good mask for occasional deep cleaning and hydration.

After reading and re-reading the instructions and product page, I’m still somewhat confused about this mask, and what it’s supposed to do. Is this mask just meant to clean the skin better than it gets cleaned with water and cleansers? The instructions say to leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes, and then wash your face with lukewarm water. So is this mask meant to prepare your skin to better absorb your skincare products? This is the first mask I’ve tried where you’re supposed to wash off the essence afterwards. With most masks, you’re absorbing the serum or essence better by leaving it on your skin. I just find it confusing that the point of this mask isn’t to be absorbed into the skin at all. Also, I’m really not a fan of the delivery system. Massaging the essence into the pouch with the mask was a bit challenging for me. Maybe there’s a trick to it that I’m not getting. After washing my face (after leaving it on my skin for about 20 min), my skin does feel different. Kind of squeaky? I used my normal skincare products following that, but I’m still not entirely sure what effects I’m looking for. I think there might be some clarity issues in the translation. I would love to understand the product better; but as it stands; I wouldn’t repurchase this mask set, as I don’t really know what I’m trying to achieve with them. My skin did feel softer and more hydrated after using it. But overall, I’m still confused.

Starting off with the pros, I used this in the morning and my face felt incredibly soft and moisturized the entire day. Super impressed with how long it lasted and made my face feel. The cons are that it was quite hard to “pop” and shoot the liquid to the mask area. I ended up giving up because I absolutely couldn’t do it and opening the seam between the liquid and the mask by yanking them apart like you do with a bag of unopened chips. That finally worked. Applying the mask comes with a few moments of what feels like suffocation because there’s a mesh layer keeping the jelly part all together. Once you peel off the mesh, it’s fine, you can breathe again. Overall, it had great results so I’m happy with it. The results matter more to me than how hard it was to open so I give 5 stars!

Although the box notes step-by-step directions, the individual mask pouches are in another language, which I am unable to comprehend. Also, the masks have an expiration date of approximately 7 months after ordering. The packaging of these masks are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The mask and the liquid pouch are separated and you have to rub in between the two in order to let the liquid pour onto the mask. I found it pretty difficult to accomplish this, so apparently I need to work on my finger strength. I let the mask absorb the liquid for approximately 2 minutes within the plastic pouch and then I tore the edge by the mask to remove it. The jelly mask is attached to a mesh covering. I did not find this mesh to be useful, and actually felt like it delayed placing the mask on my face, as I wasn’t able to line up the eyes, nose and mouth areas until the mesh was detached. The mask is soft, and jelly-like with no scent. It adhered to my face pretty well, although I did feel some areas beginning to slide, especially the area between my nose and mouth. The mask gave a wonderful cooling sensation as I wore it for the 15 minute recommended duration. The mask was easy to remove and was placed directly into the trash. Per the instructions, I washed my face with warm water and then used a toner. It left my face feeling softer, but no other noticeable benefits which I would expect from a mask in this price range. The mask was advertised to remove even small particles from the face, yet when I used the toner after I removed the mask as instructed, it did remove particles that weren’t removed by the mask.

Like others, I find this product interesting and unique, borderline confusing. I believe the intent is to go beyond normal face cleansing so you theoretically pull out more impurities and prepare your face to receive and absorb the good facial products that will follow (serums, etc). Because it’s a gel mask, the liquid is kept separate from the mask until you break the seal and release the liquid into the mask section. You then let the mask soak up the liquid for a bit, then apply the mask. It is a soft and kind of gooey mask - I guess that’s so it really adheres and can soak up impurities. After you leave it for 20min or so, you wash all the residue off which should leave your face cleaner than it was. So how does it work? Pretty well! This is not something you’re going to use often, just as an occasional deep cleaning treatment. As for how well it really lifts out deep impurities, that’s harder to tell. My face feels clean after, but it feels clean after a good washing with a quality cleanser as well. This is something I don’t mind using from time to time to give you some extra peace of mind that you might be doing some additional cleaning, but it’s really hard to tell after a couple of uses whether it really makes a difference or not.

The positive- feels really nice and cool when applied. Didn't irritate my skin at all. What I didn't like- the instructions state that you have to rub "the middle of the package" hard so that the essence on the top half will seep into the mask on the bottom half. It took me a while to figure out how to make that work. Applying the mask was messy, as there is a whole lot of gel on it. After removing it, it left my face a bit sticky and shiny. It also pilled when putting my moisturizer on afterwards.

I LOVE these masks! They make my skin feel so soft and nourished! The process is a little different than any masks I have used before, you have to crack the packaging to get the wet solution onto the actual mask and then let it sit before opening the package and putting the mask on. I have used 2 and so far they are amazing. I look forward to using them because of how nice my skin feels afterwards. I have very sensitive skin and multiple skin issues going on right now and these have not cause me any breakouts or issues.

Effective gel style sheet mask with weird system and turns slightly slimy as it sits on skin -first off I am not a huge fan of sheet masks but prefer the jelly style over the paper style. I also really enjoy Korean based skin care as a general rule but sometimes that means you get odd products that work but are definitely weird. This is one of those products -this is an effective skin care product left my skin soft and smooth with zero irritation -BUT it’s just weird. You have to break the seal that separates the mask from the liquid but the directions aren’t real clear. You have to mix them then let it sit and soak in. THEN you have to put mask on and remove this weird cheesecloth like structure that I assume is to maintain the shape of the mask while put it on. And it turned slimy, for lack of a better word, quickly from the body heat and was unpleasant. -along with that the English directions are minimal and weirdly translated so they are not 100% clear. -just strange. Works well but imho the weirdness and slimy texture doesn’t off set that much
