I've used other test strips over the years and never really knew if I could have faith in them. It always appeared I was more acid than alkaline yet I was eating to be more alkaline. When I found this brand, The Original Premium Quality Ph Test Strips for Urine and Saliva, I was impressed with the description of the item and just went ahead and bought it. What I found was that each time I was in the normal range, more alkaline than acid and it was consistent. The bottle is designed to have the color matches on it so you simply hold up the test strip, which colors are exact in almost every instance, to compare. It works as described on their instructions and I believe it's accurate because it appears to be a good company when they describe their product so completely.

I tried three different brands of pH test strips before I found one that was "good enough", so I'm posting the same review with a rating specific to each brand. 4 stars - Maximum Wellbeing was the most expensive but was accurate and precise, easy to pinpoint within .1 from 6.3 to 7.5 and within .2 from 7.5 to 8.5 Only the 1st and 3rd columns have valid colors. You can tell if it is less than 6.3 but whether it is 6.2 or 4.5 is unknown. Anything less than 6.3 is clearly too acid anyway so it doesn't really matter that much. This is definitely the best of the bunch. It is good enough, and significantly better than all the others I tried that were given high ratings by others. 2 stars - Rehydrate Pro/ my pH was somewhat usable in the acid range of 6.4 to 6.6 but very hard to read and pinpoint (Maximum Wellbeing is .1 lower, more acidic, which I suspect is more honest), and usable from 6.7 to 8.5. Only the top row of colors are valid until the bottom row turns bluish near 8.5 The case is a real pain to open. You'll need to transfer the strips to a new container. 1 star - GRF was unusable.

I tried 3 different kinds of PH Test Strips and am very happy with this product. Obviously trying to save some money, I started with less expensive strips and could never get the reading where the colors would match the chart, or one of the pads would match, but the other didn't. With these test strips, there is no confusion, all 3 colors are a perfect match (unless your reading falls between the scale, in which case it is very easy to understand the reading anyway), so there is no guessing at all. I am very happy with this product and will be buying more.

For pH testing at home, you won't find better test strips! Accurate, precise, and easy to read! Zero guess work! Just match up the strip with the color chart on the back of the bottle. Ninety-nine percent of the time, the 3 colors on the strip are an exact match to a specific pH level shown on the chart. (And for the rare occasion when it's not an exact match, you can easily see that it falls in between two levels.) *TIP* --- If you use them as often as I do, you can stretch your supply and save some money by CUTTING THE STRIPS IN HALF! :)

I'm leary of the accuracy of this product. I've used ph test strips before and they give immediate results, same result for urine and salive. These straps have not changed color at all with urine. I tried my salive and still no change of color. I set it next to the kitchen sink and tended to filling a watering can with plant food and water. After about an hour I noticed that test strip had changed color...high alkaline. That would be great if I had gotten that result directly and not after handling plant food nearby that is most likely also high alkaline. And never a budge in color with urine. No expiration date, lot or batch number. I will buy a different brand.

If you're interested in keeping track of your body's PH - then this is a good product to buy. Easy to use and read

I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow. The label was easy to read and all I had to was follow the simple instructions. Will definitely be reordering these and well-done Maximum Wellbeing. Great value for money here.

Good product, works as advertised and results appear to be accurate. We use the product to test the pH of our dog's urine. She takes medication for crystals that occur when the pH is too high and eventually gets an infection. By using the test strips we can identify the problem before it happens. I thought I would get three bottles and contacted the vender. I see that he has added a line to the ad explaining that only one bottle is shipped.
