California Costumes, Spider Pup, Dog Costume Large

We did a trunk or treat and I decorated my trunk like a spider web and dressed my dog up in this costume. He did so good. I did order up a size and got a large. It was a little bit bigger around his belly, but I was able to adjust it, and I felt like it was perfect for the length of his body.

This costume is so cute! I ended up taking the head part off because it was too loose but it still worked.

I would say the length on this is a little short but I'm not too worried about it. I have a 50lb mutt with a deeper chest and thinner stomach. The hat has a bit of a goofy fit but it's a very cute costume. The fuzz does in fact shed a bit. It was packaged very well, with cloth strips covering the harsh side of the velcro so as not to damage the costume while it is packaged. Overall I think this costume was worth the cost. It looks much better than alot of the costumes I see in the stores. I also like the vest style fit i think it stays on a little better than just velcro around the neck.

Definitely runs as size guide says. The legs are hollow and flat, but sewn closed so I can get to them to stuff them and make them seem like legs so they just kind of flop around. The hat only had 2 eyes, instead of 4 as pictured. I thought maybe they came off in the packaging but they’re simply not here and there’s no evidence they ever were. lol the hat also sits on a dog head kind of funny, it’s not very secure and it’s not flat or hollow enough for ears to stay inside of. The eyes are also EXTREMELY yellow, like they were sitting in the sun for a very long time. I’m going to have to go get some extra googly eyes to glue onto this to make it very clear it’s a spider.

This was a great costume. She has a small head so the head piece didn’t stay on with the Velcro but I just tied it and it worked great. It stayed on pretty well even when she was playing with other dogs. Her being a black dog made it that much better. Also her height was perfect for the legs. Loved it and totally think it was worth the money.

Very small a large only cover half my dogs body. Tried to stiffen the legs but it weak point is at the seam where it connects. The one I got turn out to be used as it had white dog hair all over the inside.

Good costume. I wish it came larger. This is xlarge but not as large as I would like for my lab-size dog. But cute and we will enjoy it.

Poorly made and not worth what it cost.

We must have been sent the wrong size because the large was tiny on our spaniel, poor quality too and therefore returned.
