Very simple equipment
I used this product to convert old audio cassette tapes to computer files using the Audacity software. This little gem was exactly what I needed! Our dad worked in radio for years! My uncle gave us 7 cassettes to listen too. All of my kids and my sister's kids are able to hear their grandfather doing what he loved to do! I used this player to play the audio cassette and the software converted it for me. Then I emailed the files to all 9 grandkids. Definitely a great product! Definitely worth the investment for me!!

Excellent sound!
Excellent sound—takes a while to get used to the mixed up order—the way the controls are placed—Eject, Stop, Rewind, etc....but other than that, it’s lightweight, cute, easy to use, and safe to put your old cassette tapes in the deck👍🏼

Worst tape recorder ever
I bought this to play my dads tape that he recorded in the 80’s for my mom who now has Alzheimer’s. When she’s sad or upset we wanted to play his music. Well I had 2 tapes. That’s all I had left. It ate both after playing one song. Ruined them completely. I have nothing left of my dad now. These were the last things we had with his voice. I’m so upset. We put in another tape tat wasn’t that important to us and it too was ruined after one song. Waste of money!!!

Signal strength poor
Everything fine but weak signal. Barely picks up AM/FM 35 miles away. Get better signal strength from 30 year old Sony boom box $3 at garage sale

It ate the first tape I played
Truly the worst. Like the title says, when I put in a tape for the first time, this thing chewed it up. I tried another tape and, lo and behold, it wouldn't play it for longer than ten seconds without the play button popping up and stopping. Alos, want to see something fun? Check this out:https://www.amazon.com/Victrola-Bluetooth-Boombox-Cassette-Recorder/dp/B07W4XK7BY/ref=sr_1_8?dchildLook familiar? It's the same tape player with a different name. Check out the reviews on that page too.Honestly, you're better off just shelling out a bit of extra money to get a decent vintage tape deck. It will sound 1000x better than this, and won't immediately destroy your tape.
