Complete Calisthenics, Second Edition: The Ultimate Guide to Bodyweight Exercise : Kalym, Ashley: desertcart.in: Books Review: This book should be called ‘Calisthenics for Gym Bros’ because that is definitely the vibe the author gives off. To call a book ‘Complete Calisthenics’ suggests that it includes exercises for beginners, showing different stages of progression for each exercise, as well as having options for more advanced practitioners, which it does not. Unfortunately, the exercises in this book are not appropriate for beginners, nor are they appropriate for most women, or older/out of shape adults. In fact, I would go as far as to say that this book is really only aimed at a male audience who is already in shape, has calisthenic experience, and would be capable of more advanced exercises. Of course, I question whether those people would even require a book on the subject at all. On the other hand, if someone is purchasing a book on calisthenics, I think there is a good chance that they are beginners and looking to gain knowledge on the subject, as well as seeking instruction on where to start. I found looking through this book to be disheartening, and it did not offer me any value as a middle aged woman and as a beginner. Additionally, the author is spewing nonsense about nutrition when he does not have the credentials to be doing so. It comes off as a bit embarrassing. This book was a miss for me, and I will most certainly be returning it. Review: Muito obrigado!

Absolute Emfehlung.
