It is quite bike I wasn't expecting that size

It's very useful for Key as well as fill light...I have big godox light so I wanted easy to carry light which can useful in travel and this one is perfect for me...I am using it for both purpose...so go for it...it's rival of Aperture light... everything is similar but Aperture has magnetic back and ulanzi is simple one...!!!

This is my first Impression. Today I got this product delivered which costs me ₹ 2899. This is Ulanzi's VL120 RGB, and there are more options available in Amazon. This one has 120 LED ( 84 LEDs ( 42 cool + 42 warm LEDs) & 36 RGB LEDs). And Ulanzi VL49 RGB has 60 LED(it'll have magnet too, which this model dont). The light wand varient has 88 LED which is semicylindrical in shape. But the reason I chose this VL120 RGB despite not having Magnet funtion is that I'm getting the Soft Cover (Diffusor) which both the model I mentioned won't have, and Separate mount for camera which I can attach and detach whenever I want according to my convenience (VL49 have inbuilt which you cant remove & wand version dont have), plus I'm getting 120 LED in just ₹400 extra and also extra 1100 mAh extra. This product is very easy to use (mention 2 products will also be easy to use). It has CTC mode which allow you to change temperature from 2500k(warmer light) to 9000k(cooler light). It also has 20 effects mode i.e. ambulance, lightning strike, police, candle, fireworks etc. & also RGB mode where we can have 0° to 360° colour i.e. 360 colours, though it covers all the colours like other ulanzi lights, despite that if you think that it has only 360 colours then remember you have 0 to 100% brightnes to play with each light. I cant comment on charging & battery life as of now as I got the product today, but I hope it'll be decent (good thing is it has c type charging port). Well this product is quite useful if you use colours in your photography or Videography. Product is good but battery backup is not good. Product is to high according to product battery life. Battery life: Not good max 15-20 min on 100% Why did you pick this product vs others?: It's handy and easy to carry Brightness: Superb Value for money: Not at all. So high price. Quality: It's durable and reliable Functionality: So many modes Ease of assembly: Good

Been using this for quite some time now. Working well, as intended. Would recommend

24 Jan 2023. I loved the product, great for zoom meetings, and video content making. Diffusion is also good. But I have my serious doubts if it is of 95 CRI. Full disclosure, I have not measured it with a light meter. But at 5,600 Kelvin it feels warmish white and suddenly at 6,000 it looks like a balanced White. Maybe my tired eyes projected that. Battery life is also okay. This was my first use. The overall experience will unfold as I will continue using it. Shall share the update here.

I use this light strictly as my backdrop for my content and podcast setup, and it was honestly the missing piece. I’d already bought a full light kit and still couldn’t get that cinematic podcaster look you see all over social these days. The moment this arrived, I put it behind me, picked a color that fit the room, and everything clicked, my background popped, and I popped. Total game changer. What I love most is the little LED screen. You can see your exact settings, jot them down, and recreate your look every time. It also remembers your last setting when you turn it back on, which is clutch, but it’s still nice to have those notes just in case you bump it or move things around. Battery life is solid so far (I’ve had it a little over two weeks), it’s reliable, and it does exactly what I hoped, solved the separation issue and elevated my whole setup. Posting this in case someone else is struggling with that same “my background still doesn’t look right” problem. This fixed it instantly. Update Dec 2025: Purchased a second one. =)

Arrived ok, not damaged. Before first use it has been fully charged. During test it was operating normally on H/L cool white beam. However at first real use it has started to change beam intensity on its own - like 100% and then in couple of seconds down to 20%. This was not an emergency mode or some other freaky mode they have in preset - just normal Cool White beam. Switched it off and on again - doesn't help. Adjusting level - doesn't help either. Gentle knocking - no response. It is just faulty as it comes. Avoid that product.
