This is a very useful tool for photographers or anyone who needs a tether to carry stuff. I have used my Hoodman link for several months now and have it on my vest for my hood loupe. If I am not using my vest, it clips to my belt loop. It allows easy access to my loupe when I am out in the field taking photographs and keeps me from having the bulkier loupe in my pocket. It is easy to use and strong enough to keep the loupe where you want it. Neat gadget.

Very handy gadget. Keeps m Hoodman where I can easily get it. Don't like wearing the standard leash around my neck. This is a great option.

Quick-Disconnect Does Not Work
Quick-Disconnect Gear Attachment will not release even after many attempts. I rate this item unacceptable.

Very nice
Well-made. The cable tension is just right...strong enough to retract quickly, but light enough to be easy to pull to the camera. The Loupe can easily be detached from the lanyard if you wish.
