Our daughters needed Mac books for school & we didn’t want to go buy the newest ones. This is just the right size, speed, battery life, heat level, great quality for the price. A few updates & great for school!

Though the item had adequate memory and dped of operation, it had an older operating system and would not allow an upgrade. Therefore, I was unable to load many newer apps.

I took a chance on this product as the price seamed like a bargain. Im glad i did when I received the macbook and unboxed it it looked espectacular well taken care of. It came with the charger and it looked brand new. I plugged it in and updated it as it needed to boot up. Computed started really slow but as it started to warm up it has a reasonable speed( keep in mind it is a 10 year old computer) but nether the less pretty satisfied with this purchase. Have no mayor dents or scratches i hardly see one on the corner but i was expecting way worse. I was so satisfied i bought my little brother one as well to start him off in his technology development early on. Would recommend 10/10 if you don't care for the latest models and what to do some work or use it to play Roblox online works great.

Hardware wise no complaints. However when I bought this I thought I was getting a refurbished MacBook Pro that had the latest MacOS and would function as well as a newer one. It doesn’t it has the last update of high sierra and the newest apps and programs won’t work with it. They need to tell you that you can’t upgrade to 14 Sonoma at all the newest you can go is Catalina.

I ordered this computer for my kids. They love it. They can do homework and play games and the computer does not move slow. This model also has a DVD player so they can watch some of their old movies.

The MacBook Pro I received works great! The only problem I've run into is as of Thanksgiving 2021 it no longer supports a new enough Apple OS to do any kind of work or business with. It doesn't support the current Word, Exel, or Power Point, Etc... It basically only useful for streaming and surfing the internet. I'm very disappointed. This isn't the seller's fault, I just didn't do the proper research. So here is me saving you all some time. This is a good option if you want to run a Linux OS like Ubuntu.

For its age it does well with running multiple applications, very few minor scratches, however, the battery life doesnt last too long without needing to be plugged in.

When they say renew? It’s not! The battery needed to be replaced! The screen was coming out of the housing! Even with 8gb of ram the damn MacBook did not even turn on fast, it took 2 mins for even to load anything! Don’t buy it !!!!! It’s waste of money
