First of all, the silver chest was very well packed. There is lots of padding to protect it during shipping. When I saw the outer box and realized the silver chest was manufactured in India I was skeptical. However, the finish is beautiful and the chest is very well made. The finish is a dark satin stain and there's not a lot of grain to the wood. It's very sturdy. The drawers slide very well, yet also fit just tight enough. The top lid is also a good fit. The top and two drawers are nicely lined. The top part of the chest has a nice holder for knives on the inside of the lid. I have a pretty extensive service for eight and all of the assorted forks, knives, spoons and service pieces fit in the chest with room to spare. The handles attached to the sides of the chest are well made and make it easy to transport. The quality, craftsmanship and price make this silver storage chest an excellent value.

Bought this to replace MIL’s old silver storage chest. It is very solid, beautiful wood and the inside is perfect for our 12 pc place settings and serving ware. My only complaint is there is no room for the 2 extra long serving spoons we also have.

I like the storage space and the finished appearance. It was great for my grandmother's silver service.

Quality product but not tall enough for European sized Knives which are meant to be stored in the slots on the top cover. Fortunately I had 12 butter knives and ended up placing them in those slots instead. Everything else worked well for forks, spoons, etc. The bottom drawer had larger sections perfect for serving ware and ancillary pieces.

Oh my goodness this cutlery case is so beautiful, sturdy, well made. I bought the extra large one just so I could fit my new cutlery and silverware in it. I’m very happy. If I had a complaint it would be it doesn’t lock when you transport it from place to place. I was worried that my cutlery and silverware would fall out . But that nit picking. I really love it 🥰 .

The heirloom storage boxes for my family’s silverware were showing a lot of wear-and-tear and weren’t protecting from tarnish anymore. I cleaned and transferred all the sets of silverware to the new storage boxes and suddenly my millennial daughter decided she wanted a set. The storage boxes were just what I needed to convince her she needed more than just cheap silverware for four people. She even decided she wanted her grandmother’s china!

The knife compartment is very thin cheap wood. It does not hold the butter knives, it's too flimsy and cheap! Very cheaply made and put together, especially for the high price! Huge disappointment!! Not recommended!

This is really a nice sliver flatware box with lots of storage for a setting of 12 plus serving pieces. great looking and sturdy.
