Good headphones, great value
First of all, a couple caveats. I'm not an audiophile, so take my review with a grain of salt. Also, I do not have the top of the line Sony or Bose headphones to compare them to. The whole reason I got these was because I didn't want to drop $350 on Bose or Sony units, so getting all 3 was not an option. To me, they sound really good. I'm impressed with the sound quality and volume with the limited time I've played with them. They sound much better than some of the more expensive headphones I sampled in stores <cough>Beats<cough>, and on par with the Bose QC 35's I sampled for a limited time. The headphones are comfortable but not light...there is some heft to them. The upside of this is that they feel VERY well made and sturdy. I'm not afraid of them coming apart with too much use. The case is a little bigger than I would have hoped, but they do come with a good set of accessories. I love that I can listen to them with a cable if the battery dies me. The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars if because of the noise canceling. "Canceling" is a bit of a stretch, I'd go with "muffling". I notice very little difference just with the noise canceling turned on and nothing being played through the headphones. It does work significantly better with something being played on them. All that said, for well under a third the cost of the big boys, I didn't expect them to totally shut out the world around me. Hopefully they'll do an adequate job of blocking out the lawn mower and/or snow blower when needed. EDIT -- After some "real world" use of he headphones I'm updating my review. I think they are better at the noise cancelling that I initially gave them credit for. Whether it's just the cups blocking sound or the active noise cancellation I can't say, but they actually do a pretty decent job of blocking external noise. On the other hand, I think they not quite as comfortable as I initially thought. I find myself occasionally having to adjust them while wearing them longer term. Bottom line, all things being equal I'd rather have the Bose. But all things aren't equal as these are less than 1/3 the price. If you want the best of the best, these may not be it, but given the price I think they warrant 5 stars.

5 years later, they still work and sound great
This review is probably long overdue, but I was wearing these today while on a walk when one of my favorite songs played and I had to marvel at how good these sounded. I bought these 5 years ago in anticipation of an 8-hour flight. I wanted noise cancelling, something that could pair with my phone as well as plug into my laptop, so I could enjoy music or movies on the flight. This ticked all the boxes, and the price wasn't bad either. They arrived and I spent a bit of time trying them out, noise cancelling worked surprisingly well, and as noted above, sound quality was excellent. Bluetooth pairing always syncs up almost immediately when they're turned on, and the controls all work excellent. Plus the carrying case is great for travel, much better than just tossing them in the bag and hoping for the best. Noise cancelling - it's not perfect. But at this price point, it's better than you'd expect. If you're expecting Bose-level noise cancelling, you're going to be disappointed, but you really shouldn't have that expectation at this price point. It's good enough to cut out most of the usual sounds on a plane, it really cuts down on cabin noise. I flew on a turboprop plane for part of the trip, and boy, did these really minimize the droning of the props, which was great because my seat was right on the wing. I've also worn these at home running my snowblower, because I needed to be able to hear my phone in case it rang. These were phenomenal at cutting down the noise of the snowblower, and not only could I hear when my phone rang, I could also enjoy listening to music, which made the whole chore a lot more enjoyable. I've now been using these for 5 years, battery life is still good and I can definitely say they're worth the price. PAWW really delivered a great product at a great price, I would definitely buy from them again.

On the face of it the wavesound 3 is ok but not the best because 1. The bluetooth range is very poor, of you are like me want to move around at home while wearing your headphones these headphones are not for you On average the bluetooth range is about 10 meters in an open space 2. Sound quality is good but not loud

Was slightly nervous of some negative reviews but took the plunge and was rewarded by fantastic quality headphones. My last Sony headphones lost sound out of one side and was difficult to find and use the control buttons also bluetooth was a bit hit and miss. Ordered these Paww headphones in blue and they look expensive and very stylish and different to other brands and the controls are easy to find and a voice tells you that it is pairing and then connected and to turn off continue holding the button and then hear the voice say "power off". Once set up they find bluetooth connection every time. Have not used the noise cancelling in a noisy environment yet but seems very effective. The build quality is very impressive with metal rather than plastic so slightly heavier than others but excellent cushioning from the band and ear pads. The case and accessory leads are an added bonus to an overall brilliant package.
