It says it is for 10-gauge wire, but 8 gauge also fits great. It looks and feels like factory after connected and is made of solid plastic. The brass connectors need to be removed to connect tightly to the wire but go back in easily and there is a tight water seal when the two halves are screwed back together. The homemade cable looks great. Good idea to do a continuity test with a volt ohm meter on ohms meter set on ohms to make sure the wires are connected to the correct terminal from both ends. White neutral, black hot, green ground.

Easy to install. Terminals labeled for easy connections. The quality seems good. Time will tell. So far no complaints. Would purchase again.

Well, it went together easy enough for someone that has no background in handy work. Probably took me an hour because I didn’t have the proper tools. Nice and tight connection, looked nice, only struggled a smidge getting the tension bracket on. In future, I will read the measurements in the descriptions. It does not fit in my storage compartment for my unit. 😒🤦🏽‍♀️ Lesson learned, don’t be me.

Easy to install

Used this on the commercial griddle I use in my kitchen but I also want to use it at my campsite next year. It functions in the RV outlet at the campground. Great quality, good design, and I saved money! I installed an RV outlet in my kitchen and dedicated a 30A breaker and 10ga wire to it.

Not very resilient. Certainly better than the broken plug it replaced, but the casing on this one has broken & probably should be replaced. It's only a bit over 1 year old.

Just finished connecting this plug to my RV power cable - it's the end of the season :( The plug appears to be very good quality. Sturdy. Strong. No short cuts taken. The instructions are a bit off but pretty good overall. It's a bit challenging to connect the cable to the lugs on the plug: first connect the ground tyne after taking it out of the plug body. Next, flip the cable over, as though it's going out of the top of the plug instead of the bottom. Once it's in that position it's pretty simple to connect to the Live and Neutral lugs. Finally flip the cable 180 degrees back to the bottom position and tighten the strain relief. It's a bit more than your typical 120 volt plug but you needn't be a master electrician to do a solid job

Worked great, but that handle on the back made it impossible to fit into the slot on my camper for holding the cord. Had to cut that handle off and water proof it after. Been using for 2 years now without a problem.
