This is the best eyelid primer I’ve ever used! I got the light color which, on its own, really complements my eyes. It also holds powdered shadow so well. I received the tube from the seller on time and in perfect condition! Highly recommend!👍

I needed to try a new eyeshadow primer because I was tired of the last one that claimed that it was "translucent" but it showed more than my eyeshadow. It tried this and loved it a lot. I purchased it in my skin tone and it matched perfectly. This goes on sheer when you apply it on. It does make your eyeshadow color "pop". Overall it's great.

I am very pleased with this product. I'm 67 and this keeps my eye shadow products from creasing. I'm very impressseed! My only issue is that I wish it actually had some color to it.

This is the first time I have tried this product and very impressed by it. Great coverage, color is natural for me - just a little lighter than my skin tone, and does not feel drying. It really does a great job of keeping shadow in place with no creasing and also helps reduce wrinkles. Another thing I really like about this primer is, if I don't want to wear eyeshadow, I can use this without it. I find the color brightens my lids while the formula gives them a matte look. This is going to be a permanent item in my cosmetic collection!

So far I have been loving this primer. I have sensitive dry eyes and some products either won't work at all or greatly irritate them causing more issues to the point that I can't wear eyeliner, eyeshadow.... cause it won't stay on. Mixed with oily dehydrated skin especially around my eyes (less in winter but still an issue) so a great eye primer is a must if I want to wear eyeshadow & eyeliner. My makeup usually needs to last over 8 hours as fixing your entire eye makeup is not possible while at work. Great bonus is the price and that you dont need to use a lot of product to see that its working and was a lot cheaper than the previous primer I was using that also did not do as well this one. After day 2 of using this primer it has become a staple for me. It's currently winter where I live so the real test will see how this primer holds up during our hot, humid summers.

First, I thought this eye primer would hide discoloration because it comes in different tinted skintone shades. I was going to use it on minimal makeup days for that purpose. It's actually very sheer and does nothing for my dark eyelids. It definitely holds onto the shadow and makes the colors look richer. I like using it with Colourpop Supershock Shadows. Besides all that, I find this primer can look a little cracked and leathery when I use it with matte shadows and can make them hard to blend. A little bit too much stickiness for mattes, in my opinion. If it's making Natasha Denona mattes hard to blend, something isn't right. My eyelids are not dry or flakey and I have a very good skincare routine.

I had high hopes for the NYX Ultimate Shadow & Liner Primer (Light shade), but it’s a letdown earning this 1-star review. The formula is so sticky it leaves a tacky residue, making eyeshadow patchy and eyeliner smudge-prone. Blending? A nightmare—it balls up on my lids. I bought a 3-tube bundle thinking I’d save, but all three were equally unusable, forcing me to toss them out. Save your money—this primer doesn’t deliver vibrant color or lasting wear. Skip it for something that actually works.
