Native Miller Slip-On Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

WARNING: These shoes will shrink if you look at them wrong!I have heard that shoes like these (for example: Crocs) will shrink if exposed to extreme heat. That is why they recommend that you don’t put these or other foam-like shoes in the dish washer.I did not put my daughters shoes in the dishwasher. I did not put her shoes in the oven. I left her shoes in my white car at 5 pm in 80 degree weather for a half an hour. Granted it was not my choice to leave her shoes in the car, she decided to kick them off in a fit of joyful rage, and wholeheartedly refused to put them back on. I am not sure if the sun aligned with the all the windows in the car to create a heat beam, but when I got back from my shopping spree at the local Wally World, the shoes seemed different. They had warped and shrunk what seemed like 2 sizes. They would not nearly fit my daughters feet. It took me a couple minutes to figure it out, but they had obviously shrank in the heat of the car.Please heed my warning, these are comfortable and great shoes, but you can not put them in any the way of any heat source. This includes your oven, dishwasher, cat’s warm belly, your hot neighbor, and your secret flamethrower test facility. They will shrink at the slightest hint of heat. I highly recommend if you must leave them in the car bringing a cooler and ice pack to keep them cool.I cannot recommend these shoes unless they somehow change the material, or place a giant warning on the top of the shoe that says “Shoes may shrink from human body heat!”

I have a 5 year old son that wears these and he's now scared to wear them in the sun because these things get HOT.My son was in the stroller when I was pushing him around the amusement park and only his feet were exposed. These suckers heated up so much that it was hot to the touch and I had to dip them in water to cool it down. Also, for extended/hard use watch out for blisters on the heel, especially when the kid is not wear socks. Rubber on a bare heel over time will win over skin....These shoes are good but they have their pitfalls. Good for short term, not exposed directly to the sun and worn with socks if possible.

My 18 month old has fat, sweaty feet. These shoes are great for summer because he can wear them in all sorts of water/mud/grass/dirt scenarios and they are easy to hose off. They seem relatively comfortable for a few hours, once they're on. They look super adorable but they do leave little hole indentions on his feet after a few hours and his feet do come out of the shoes dirty and stinky. They require a little wiggle and push to get on but they don't come off easily & he doesn't have velcro to mess with. Overall, I really like these shoes and will probably buy the next size up when he outgrows these.

Great Shoes! I absolutely love these shoes for my 15 month old. She has wide feet so it is hard to find shoes that fit. But if your child has wide feet you must get the "MILLER" I accidentally ordered the "Jefferson" and they were too tight.I got her size 5 which is slightly big but stay on her feet and can grow a bit in them. She can also wear socks with them.She plays outside in the dirt/mud and its not a problem at all. I just wash them in the sink and they look like new. They are really cute and stylish too. Look great in clothes and she walks in them great. Buying another pair now.

This shoe is really cute and my daughter threw a fit when we tried to take them off of her to put them back in the box for a return (they were way too large). I'm going to keep them - she ought to fit into them this summer. We just ordered another smaller pair. My daughter is 3.5 and wears about a 9.5 in other shoes - so just a note, if you require a half size, go down. I'm sure there will be plenty of room. Side aside, they are very cute and are soft and comfortable from what my daughter says.

Love these slip ons for my 7 year old. They aren't as bulky or ugly as regular Crocs, but they serve the same purpose. We live on the coast and so we are always finding ourselves at the beach, and they are great for emptying out the sand without having to wear Crocs all the time. My daughter loves them and they are easy and safer for her to run in. I wish they had more on sale- I got these for $13 but they typically run 20-30. I wouldn't pay $30 for them, but then again I wouldn't pay $30 for any kid's shoes because they grow out of them so quickly.

love the shoes, but way too wide for my 6 year old. Also ordered a pair for my baby once she is a walker, and I think they will be perfect since she has chubby feet. I wouldn't say my 6 year old has necessarily narrow feet, but they fell right off. I ordered the Jeffersons for my son at age 1, and they were far too narrow - so I guess they just run different?

My wife's ridiculously irritating hippy friend suggested them and we bought into the subliminal vibe. Now my kid has had many pair of these as his foot has grown and his activity levels have increased over the years. They wear very well (even on the Stryder) and they're light weight. If I open the shoe closet, he always selects these over everything else. Even the LED blinky turtle shoes his grandmother thinks ever kid wants get left in the dark.. He loves them, they wear well and are easy to clean. I can't ask for anything else. ..ok maybe free ones in every size made for my next kid? They cost too damn much that's another fact.

Very nice shoes, exactly what I expected. The only thing I don't like about them is I find they make my sons feet stink a little bit if he wears them all day long.
