FYI, this review is for the version I purchased August 2019 for $109 shipped. Full disclosure, I am doing this in hopes of getting some free packing cubes. I plan to update my review after my month long Europe trip with this bag. I love bags and really cool bags. This is a really cool bag. I was shopping for a bag to use for traveling to Europe (from the US) for a month involving air, train, bus, and car (maybe boat). It had to fit as a carry on (it measures just right without the smaller bag zipped on) and feature wheels and handle to pull, plus backpage straps. Plus it had to hold up for international travel. Other bags I compared with was sketchy if they were carry on size and lacked the features I wanted. First impressions: This bag is very well built but still light weight. The material seems durable so as not to tear. Stitching is good so not to break. Zippers and buckles are of quality so not to fail. The bags zip together well. The handle and wheels work good and do not extend beyond the bag to violate the 22". The backpack straps transform well and are of good quality and design including a very important waist belt.* *The waist belt design is this bag's only failing. It folds down and is velcro'd on the bottom. As a previous backpacker, this design fails as the waist belt is unable to support the weight of the bag on your hips. This puts all the weight on your shoulders. Overall, this is how I would design a bag to use for carry on international travel on various transports.

Stabiles und flexibles Reisegepäck für Vielreisende und Dauerpendler. Hab’s seit Monaten im Einsatz und bin zufrieden. Kleine Schwäche mit großen Folgen: der Kunststoffgriff ist mit zwei Metall-Schrauben am Alu-Gestänge befestigt. Weil die sich mit der Zeit lockern, kann sich der Griff lösen, und das Gewinde im Gestänge ausreißen, was unterwegs fatal ist. Daher entweder ständig festen Sitz der Schrauben kontrollieren oder Schrauben fixieren (bspw. Loctite). Daher nur 4 von 5 Sternen, sonst wären‘s klare 5.

It is a well made and designed capacious piece of luggage using what appear to be tough materials and fixings. Need to find a way of tucking the various straps away more easily when transitioning back and forth between back pack and wheeled as they tend to drag on the floor which I envisage being when in an airport getting on and off escalators. But that is something I guess for V4.0! My use will be predominantly short to medium haul but I can see exactly why the global traveller will like it too. For me it will enable me to miss the check in queues and baggage reclaim whilst still being able to take enough clothes on trips as well as have the laptop bag for the office.

Me ha gustado muchísimo pero lo malo es que no he tenido oportunidad de usarla como para realmente dar una opinión más valedera... Tras comprarla, la comencé a llenar de cosas para un viaje que tenía planeado (que se suspendió) y pude comprobar que realmente el espacio rinde muy bien... Son dos mochilas + maleta en una y eso me parece practiquísimo. Había visto por allí que llegaban algunos complementos o al menos un cubre mochila, pero no fue así... Me llegaron las dos mochilas/maleta y nada más... La calidad se ve buena y la relación calidad - precio me pareció correcta. Cuando la pruebe en el viaje podré decir más... Actualización: he encontrado en un bolsillo superior el protector de lluvia/cubre mochila de la maleta pequeña.
